Fantastic monitor for PC/Console gaming

Vibrant colors, HDR10 capability and a smooth 144hz refresh rate make this a good all around monitor. Only con is the stand, which is aesthetically pleasing but lacking in maneuverability. Recommend putting it on a desk mount like I did, now I have no complaints.

I had no issue setting the monitor up, I used the VESA mount instead of the stand that it came with. Pros: Excellent picture quality, color, brightness. It does pair well with PS5 - colors pop, VRR works great with the games. HDR works well Cons: OSD is confusing - even with the software that you can download on your PC - If you want to change a preset, you have to turn off HDR, change preset, then re-enable HDR (although, does that overwrite the preset settings? I have no idea..) -on the PS5 - every time you launch the game, it scans for a signal - sorta annoying, but not too bad.

We are very sorry to hear you are having trouble configuring your settings to your preference. The INZONE M9’s Preset picture modes are designed to optimize picture quality for specific use cases. Standard, FPS and Cinema preset modes are tuned for overall balanced performance, optimized for FPS games, and for enjoying cinematic content like streaming movies or videos, respectively. For more customized performance, we recommend using Game 1 or Game 2 and turning off HDR to ensure your customized settings are not overridden.
When using the monitor for a PS5, make sure that the cable you are using properly connected and secured. Sometimes cables are the easiest cause for concern and fix most issues with flickering and or picture quality like you have described.

Can’t tell to much while gaming but for daily tasks its noticable might have to return but love the image quality

And with regards to dead pixel issue, The LCD panel fitted to this unit is manufactured with high–precision technology, giving a functioning pixel ratio of at least 99.99%. A very small proportion of pixels may be stuck, either always off (black), always on (red, green, or blue), or flashing. This is not a malfunction.

Solid choice not only for gaming.

I am not using the included stand, which is a bit strange looking, instead using a multi positioned arm, mounted to my desk. If you can find it around the 600 mark it’s a steal.

I use this monitor for a xbox series x and it has all the capabilities the console can run. I don't give this a five stars because whenever I Close an app on my console the monitor shuts off and says scanning for signal and I have to wait a couple of seconds its a little annoying but I've gotten to use to it. I honestly think the price is a little steep for what it is.

Holds its own compared to more expensive gaming monitors when it comes to picture quality. Now the flaws. The stand is pathetic. The height adjustment results in either the bottom of the monitor sitting on the desk or max. Max height is too low for most users. Next it supposedly supports 100x100 VESA mounts. That is NOT true. The mounting point is recessed on the back of the monitor. I have yet to find a monitor mount that fits the recessed mounting point. These flaws will make me return the monitor. Amazing screen unacceptable stand and mounting option.

Honestly I’m pretty mad at myself for not doing it sooner, cause this thing works like my ps5’s right hand. I play a lot of warzone and fps in general so the jump from 60 - 120hz with VRR was like a dream come true. No more stutter, or slow frames when bunny hopping to the sides. Finally being able to see the shadows in the windows at 150 yds was a game changer. I was and still am very impressed with the auto hdr feature that syncs with ps5, you can still turn off hdr and set your own modes or use the preset ones they include. There isn’t a lot of games that run at 120hz consistently (and this monitor max’s at 144) besides the war zones and fortnights for CONSOLE, so this is going to be the best monitor you can buy for a console for the next 8-10 years I'd say. just please buy a hdmi 2.1 from a real store, not amazon.

However, i say all of that with the heavily discounted price i purchased it for. I would not be nearly as pleased if i paid the $899 msrp. The monitor only has 96 dimming zones but as per usual with Sony, the software/firmware helps make the best of those zones. I am very confident ithe build quality and longevity of the monitor thanks to Sony's overall reputation as a manufacturer.

faulty input switching. terrible customer support

I've reached out to Sony about fixing this, but they have been wildly difficult to deal with. When they finally sent a replacement, it was already damaged. So sadly I am living with a faulty monitor and try not to switch inputs when I can help it

Excellent monitor with a small drawback

The design of the unit is nice and had a backlight behind the screen that you can change to a color of your looking. My only wish is that the panel was an oled. Highly recommended

Choose this over the LG pq/gq 950 Monitor cause of the HDR quality was better on the inzone m9 since I plan to use it for HDR game play and fps if you don’t care about HDR quality then I would recommend either of those LG monitors instead.

Great 4k monitor

Its super bright and with the FALD you can have actual blacks in your monitor! No more washed out gray! I did have an issue with it identifying input, but it does have a great Inzone desktop app so you can make changes to it, so I set the input manually and have not had any issues since.
