I must say, I'm blown away by its picture quality. The new QD OLED technology is truly remarkable and the contrast level and colors are simply amazing. The red colors in particular are stunning and really pop on the screen.
I was initially disappointed that Sony didn't offer this panel in 77 inches in 2022, but the 65-inch model I purchased is still a great size for my living room. The design of the TV is also sleek and modern, adding to the overall aesthetic of my home.
The sound quality is impressive as well, with clear dialogue and great bass response. The TV's smart features are easy to use and the remote control is intuitive.
I would highly recommend the Sony A95K to anyone in the market for a high-quality TV. Its picture quality and smart features are second to none, and while I wish it came in a larger size, the 65-inch model is still a great choice.

Excellent picture and sound. Remote easy to use and backlit. More popular streaming apps are available. Stand extends the full length of the tv making it impossible to add a sound bar below the screen. Newest model changes the stand/

I have had this TV for about six months now, and it is without hesitation the best TV I have ever seen, certainly ever had. It is not an inexpensive TV, for sure, but every single use I have put it to - from 4K HDR movies to PC gaming to nightly reruns of The Simpsons over the antenna - this television just absolutely crushes.
The only flaws I could point to are price, obviously, the menu can be sluggish from time to time, and occasionally I have to push the off button on the remote twice for it to actually register and turn off. Those can be annoying, for sure, but they are insignificant compared to the quality of the picture on this TV.
The only way I would regret this TV is if burn-in turns out to be a problem <5-6 years. It is an OLED after all.

I was ready to upgrade my TV and the Sony A95K was a TV recommended to me by someone I know and trust. They’re an electronics repair person so they know there stuff. I also read all the Best Buy reviews on the TV and other reviews as well. So, I was sold. I purchased the TV as well as the Sony HA7000 sound bar with sub and rear speakers. The set up was very straightforward and simple. When I was going through set up, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and hearing!!! I’ve never seen a picture so crisp. So clear. So clean. Every color you’d see if you were looking at these things in real life was present. And every sound you’d expect to hear was present as well. The sounds were in front of you, in back of you, on the sides and from up above.I finally have an actual home theater!!
I’m a negative person by nature though and I stopped myself from getting all excited at that point and completed the set up process. Once I did that, I went on to setting up the Bravia Core app and grabbed a movie I couldn’t wait to see in Dolby Vision and Atmos 7.1. I was astounded!!! The picture so clean. The sound moving all around you like you’re there in the movie.
Other movies that aren’t in Dolby Vision and don’t have 7.1 audio are wonderful to watch also. Sony doesn’t stretch things out at all. What they say about their products and what they make them with, meaning if they say it has Dolby capabilities or the processor upscales audio or video, the product does what they say it will do.
My purchase from Best Buy was flawless. I called in to make the purchase and the person I spoke with was extremely helpful. Any questions I had they were able to answer. The deliveries of each item were all earlier then they said and they let me know when the items were to arrive with plenty of time to be ready to receive them. I didn’t have the people who delivered the TV set anything up but they put the TV right where I wanted it. I had purchased a stand for the TV because I didn’t think the one I had would work but I found I would. Returning the one I purchased was very quick and easy. I was in and out in minutes.
I give Five Plus stars to Best Buy and Sony for providing such great service and products!!!

I would actually give this 4 1/2 starts rather than five if that were an option. It needs at least one more HDMI port. On the plus side, the picture quality is exceptional! The optional stand that allows the TV to be elevated higher than the stand that comes with the TV is okay, but needs a way to lock it better so the screen does not rotate as easily. The Best Buy installers were exceptional. This is such a better experience than our prior LF that had the terrible LG WebOs that was not friendly for web browshing. The sound from the TV is pretty good, but not as good as a sound bar.

Best In Class Picture With A Few Dumb Annoyances

This panel is everything I wanted it to be and more. I use it extensively for every media type (movies, television, video games, etc.) and it is a masterpiece. From brightness to color accuracy and clarity, this is an excellent showcase of Sony’s Master Series and image processing capabilities.
The Google aspect of it, however, is incredibly bloated and annoying and there is no way to turn it off or even remove or reorganize things to be less terrible. I previously had a Sony A9F which also used the Android/Google OS, but that allowed me to remove some needless clutter from the home screens and generally ran better because of it. I wish I could have that Operating System in this A95K panel. But, alas…
One legit complaint regarding the hardware is the fact this unit only has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports that support VRR and one of them is the eARC port. As a person who plays both the PS5 and Xbox Series X AND uses a nice Soundbar with wireless rears, it’s super frustrating that I cannot have all of them hooked up at once fully. I have to decide which system doesn’t have VRR. There are 2 HDMI 2.0 ports as well but for this much money and being top-of-line it’s absolutely ridiculous.
If you are looking for the best Sony has to offer (in this size range) then look no further. Just be sure to prepare for these minor frustrations before dropping this kind of money.

With Bestbuy offers going on I had to decide between SB95, G2 and A95K. As a previous LG C7 OLED owner that I am changing due to early red pixel degradation issue, I had to make sure that new TV is build to last longer without burn in. So SB95 was out coz they don’t have heat sink to prevent screen burn in.
After seeing G2 and A95K in person at best buy and the sales person showed a chart with detailed stats between these two tv.
G2 was slightly brighter but A95K had better life to pictures. It pops more. And I am noticing reds are very different and vibrant. Like my old lg c7 OLED tv was not able to make this kind of red at all.
Pros :
Picture quality
Build quality
Sound is deep
The way tv stands on
New Sony remote
Upscale is better
Tv software (sometimes little intimidating)
Easy to install
Cons:
Very expensive
Heavy tv carry
No place to keep sound-bar if using tv stand.
Overall if you have money to spend this is the best tv you can get on this size.

The picture is unbelievably beautiful. No matter what side you look at it you see all the colors and their glory. The darks are darks and the whites are very bright. Every scene in a movie or video game stands out. I thought I would t notice the difference between my old Samsung lcd and this Sony oled but I noticed the difference right when I turned on the Sony tv. The colors just pop.

This is my second Sony TV. The 1st was the LED. This OLED is very nice. The only grape I have is the stand. Looks kinda weird. I prefer the old way. But it is what it is. Besides that flaw, I do love the picture quality. My games look realy nice on the dark scenes. Colors are good. Menu is easy to use. However, it could have been better. All in all, I am glad I waited to get this on sale.

I’ve had the set now for about a month. The picture is very bright with very crisp and sharp details. I have a mild light sensitivity, and find I can watch this set for hours in a dark room - with no TV lighting - without issue.
I understand 8K is noticeably better than 4K, as 4K is noticeably better than HD.
With this set, from my five year old 4K LG, I think I’m getting a taste of what 8K might look like.
The images are much brighter, crisper, and sharper. Some of that perceived-difference may be my five year old 4K LG’s picture degrading over time. That being typed, I do not recall my old LG’s brightness, crispness and clarity ever impressing me as much as this Sony’s does.
All sources are brighter, crisper, and sharper - FiOS TV (even with their second-rate 4K offerings), XBOX games, and UltraHD DVDs.
I left the Sony’s settings on their factory defaults. I have read repeated reviews of the default settings being very good.
They are exceptional. I modified some of the settings initially, and found the defaults produced the best picture.
Both the current LG and Samsung also produce very good images. As I pondered them myself, I considered one likely can’t go wrong with any of the three - the Consumer Reports review was the difference-maker. The Sony XR65A95K is rated absolute number one - the color accuracy is the big difference CR identified.
Going back some decades, Sony has frequently had the best-looking televisions - even back to the CRT days - that too made the decision easier.
I hope the review is helpful. Good Day.

This is the best TV I have ever seen. Sharp picture, vivid colors and amazingly a good sound quality for a TV that is less than an inch thick. However, in most of the viewing modes the overall brightness could have been better. Dispute this it is still the best TV I’ve ever had. I will exchange this 65A95k for the 65A95L which is far brighter.

Excellent accurate picture. Vibrant colors that are brilliant, yet not overpowering. Sound quality is heads above others. You Truely don’t need a soundbar unless you are an audiophile. Construction quality outstanding. Remote is heads above others. Don’t care for google that much though. It’s overall maturity sets it above others, and it is a Truely master craft level television

No one at Sony to report bugs to

Best ever picture: (The following review I posted on Sony’s website. I have wasted many hours trying to get Sony’s attention about their firmware bugs. All I get is repair service help. There are bugs they need to fix! Don’t know what I can do more to report them except to write these reviews.)
I have only purchased Sony TVs and this one has a remarkable picture. However I find my current up-to-date software, (not Google) needs attention: I find during trial and error, older setups can't be removed. I have multiple selections for each HDMI input that can't be removed. I can setup my Directv DVR (HR24-500) but it won't power off with the TV. During power on it asks me if it should turn it on. No way to change this behavior! Over The Air (Next Gen) the audio channels are reversed, Spanish selects English and English selects Spanish. Alternate sound from a different Next Gen Ch only sends audio to my right-front Theater speaker. Channel surfing is not smooth because it pauses when the OTA tuner starts tuning digital weak channels. After these pauses, pressing the "123" button then selecting "Display" can hangup or display without detail information. I also find my TV Guide Favorites change by including all available channels. Then next time I turn on TV it is fixed. When a digital channel is too weak to lock in. Then the signal improves, the tuner will not display until you move to another channel and return to that channel. My Sony UBP-X1000ES blu-ray player most of the time is powered on/off correctly. But sometimes selecting that HDMI port it doesn't turn on. Also the "123" button doesn't offer an option to eject the tray. It seems that there is too much emphasis in the whole setup to automate. Not leaving any options to come back later and make changes. There is no deleting or adding another Cable box setup. As normal these days there is never any details in the Help Manual to explain what the software is really doing throughout setup. There are other odd behaviors I have seen. I have tried "Restarting" the whole system but nothing improves. I really don't want to restore factory defaults until the firmware is updated and improved. I am looking forward to Sony updating and fixing these problems. It is early in this product's history but better quality testing of the firmware should have been done at Sony. I have hopes that these problems get addressed. Believe me they are there!

I recently purchased the 65 inch OLED and the 85 inch Mini-Led. At the store the Mini Led appeared more vibrant and richer in color. When I set them ul and tested them, the OLED clearly showed deeper colors and more smoothness. Dont get me wrong, the Mini Led is an excellent workhorse but the OLED shines in low light to dark conditions

Best TV I’ve ever owned. This thing has incredible blacks and the natural skin tones unlike any other TV. I had a top end Samsung next to it for 2 full weeks and it was no contest. I’ve had Samsungs for the past 15 years and this Sony has converted me. Best Buy slows me to have both TVs at my home for the comparison. Top service and top products. Thank you Best Buy!

I rarely write reviews but when I do it's to make sure that the product in review is exceptional. This Sony A95K QD Oled is the most beautiful tv I have ever seen. I've owed Master Series from the Z9D, to the A9G and most recently the Z9J, but this QD technology is no joke. I know there will be more advance technology to make TV's look better but at this moment nothing beats this Sony not even the Samsung S95b and it's inaccurate colors. Everything you throw at this set is amazing even grubby content from YouTube TV. There's a lot of reviews that talk about the features and content I'm just reviewing to let you know what you're missing out if you choose another TV at this price point. Forget what they say about size over quality, I prefer quality any day.
