Amazing TV

Bought a lower model sony for a basement remodel and thought even that picture was much better than my main tv. Decided to upgrade to the B9 for added brightness and sony picture processing. The picture is amazing, the difference in contrast is to the OLED is marginal, and IMO the added brightness more than compensates. Very happy with the purchaee

It is ideal for a brighter viewing environment such as I have. My previous Sony XBR lasted over 26 years. I’ve always been pleased with Sony products and I’m very happy with my Bravia 9 tv.

This is our third Sony flat screen (back to the beginning) and they are on the cutting edge, as illustrated by the outstanding picture. Spend the few extra bucks and keep it for many years longer. Paired with the Sony soundbar, which is quite good.

Picture quality is beautiful and really enjoy the Google operating system. Sound is decent, but would recommend a soundbar with speakers since this TV is a beast!

The remote control is responsive and rechargeable. The only negatives concern extra features that do not work as I want -- the automatic brightness with the BRAVIA CAM does not work as I expected.

Great color and clarity of images 4k-standard upscaled older content. Had to get this TV on warranty because my x95j started showing all led's through the diffuser sheet, a common issue Sony apparently denies. X95j was only 3 years old and no repair available accept throught Sony, but Geek squad warranty had me covered! Hooefully this one doesnt have the same issue if so will never go Sony again.

If you're a gamer especially with PS5 takes your gaming to another level. I would say this is one of the best Tv's on the market right. Do yourself a favor and get one in a 75 preferably like i did

Feels like I have an oled but super bright and no screen burn in. Sony really put a lot into this tv and it shows. Sounds amazing too no need for a sound bar. Sounds better than most cheap sound bars.75 in is the perfect size as well. GET THIS TV!!

Was over 100lbs, heavier than I expected but wife and I were able to get it mounted. Was terrified we'd break the screen. The pic is great, sound is ok, Glare can be a problem on the screen from the kitchen lights and sun. All in all it's a great TV for the price I paid on sale.

We understand your concerns about glare. The BRAVIA 9 has a screen with a low-reflection finish, but depending on the angle and intensity of a light source, reflections can still be noticeable. For the best viewing experience, adjusting room lighting or using blackout curtains can make a big difference, especially with bright kitchen lights or direct sunlight.

Good colors and easy to side load apps

And it is very convenient to have google tv installed and easy to side load apps compared to Samsung TVs, I have to put a chromecast to do so for Samsung TVs.

A De Facto OLED

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This replaced a 65" LG E6 OLED and not once have I missed the OLED's superior microcontrast, plus I can now send Atmos through eARC. No blooming, no light bleed into the black bars, great specular highlights, and it just looks OLED-like, yet with more shadow detail. For me, the A95L was not worth 1500 more. Professional mode well fits the content I watch (though I haven't yet tried sports - football is soon to come) because it is accurate yet still packs a bit of bunch. I'm playing with motion settings - Smoothness on 1 suffices so far, and I will now try turning off Cinemotion after initially leaving it on High. But motion has been fine 95% of the time. No Dolby Vision issues yet - I use DV Dark in a light controlled room and it does great. The Netflix and Amazon Prime calibrated modes work well - seem to mirror DV Dark for such content. The motion-activated backlit remote is a nice touch, though I'd prefer larger buttons.
