We had BestBuy mount the tv for us and they were great. I've had a Sony for years, so I know this will last a very long time.

Nice Picture

The picture on the Sony is great and I’m very happy with it so far. I run my audio through a stereo system so I’m not too bothered by the terrible speakers built into this set.

Due to the amount of light in my room the Mini Led was my choice and the Sony Bravia 9 looks GREAT! This is an awesome TV for picture quality and sound.

Great picture quality

Sony really improved the brightness with this generation. You can go with a mini LED for a room with ambient light without sacrificing clarity and brightness.

Not living up to the hype...

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bravia 9 was announced as the pinnacle of mini-LED QLED TV's, rivaling at least on paper with the most premium OLED TV's in the market, I bought it, based on many reviews and side to side comparison while in store. Honestly is still far away from the performance of the top of the line OLED TV's, the brightness it's impressive and the level of backlight control it achieves is impressive (for a mini-LED). But the black levels and contrast are still way off, when compared to OLED technology, blooming and viewing angles are still an issue. Everything I mentioned could be overlooked if not for the price tag, I'm sure no one wouldind sacrificing the overall performance gap, for a cheaper price.

COMPLICATED SET UP

I m a senior citizen and some of the terminology and setupis way over my head. I had to get a new remote and called GeekSquad and they said they woukdhavw to send somone out at a costof $149.00. I am Best Buy Geek Squad memberand are having second thoughts now. I have always been ableto,program remote but now you can onlyhave one remote programmed and I amhaving difficulty removing the old one

Quality picture and a little more than needed pric

I hope it lasts me as long as the Samsung did. I was quite astounded with the sound quality out of this TV. The only time I need to turn on my surround sound system is when watching blockbuster movies.

Settings menu can be a tad sluggish, I'm sure software updates can work that out. It is a premium price, but not disappointed with everything that it brings.
