Settings menu can be a tad sluggish, I'm sure software updates can work that out. It is a premium price, but not disappointed with everything that it brings.

Quality picture and a little more than needed pric

I hope it lasts me as long as the Samsung did. I was quite astounded with the sound quality out of this TV. The only time I need to turn on my surround sound system is when watching blockbuster movies.

COMPLICATED SET UP

I m a senior citizen and some of the terminology and setupis way over my head. I had to get a new remote and called GeekSquad and they said they woukdhavw to send somone out at a costof $149.00. I am Best Buy Geek Squad memberand are having second thoughts now. I have always been ableto,program remote but now you can onlyhave one remote programmed and I amhaving difficulty removing the old one

We understand that the new technology can feel overwhelming, and we want to make this easier for you: to remove your old remote, please go to Settings > Remotes & Accessories, select the old remote from the list, and choose Unpair. Once that is cleared, you should be able to pair your new remote without needing a paid service call.

Installation OK and Setup ?

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Home Screen is not impressive (not bright and perhaps Sony is worried about screen burn in) and installing apps is not intuitive. However, when viewing 4K and Blue Ray DVD's the screen is excellent. The installation and setup leaves the Bravia 9 75" with minimal functionality and I had to figure things out for myself: Like installing Sony Pictures Core with 10 credits for recent movies, and the free movies are limited and dated. I still don't have google chrome installed and things are not placed as expected. The installers asked me if I had Geek Squad Plus support at $179 per year; I just paid $949.99 for a 5 year warranty for Geek Squat with a 2 year factory warranty. The sales pitch was that Best Buy supplements the factory warranty. FYI... I recommend installing a Keyboard and Mouse onto the Bravia 9 to assist in setting up the apps.

There's basically no latency in any of the menus, which has been a huge issue for me in the past, especially with Samsung. I will definitely stick to Sony in the future for TVs if this is the quality you can count on.

Kudos! The TV, with sound bar is great, especially for someone like me that values sound. Cant wait until tomorrow when my Sony rear speakers show up which should elevate the sound experience even more.

So far we are very pleased, my husband can see most of the shows now. He still has issues where the shows are filmed in dark rooms, but the TV can't solve all the problems

The picture settings are hard to mess with to be honest but once you get the hang of them you could make your television look great.
