Magnolia setup my Home Theater in my living room and master bedroom. I could not be happier with all of their ideas, selections and finished work. Do yourself a favor and go get a consultation. Professionals through and through!

This TV need no adjustments. Take it out of the box, hang it on the wall and watch the most perfect displays I have seen so far. This unit was quite pricey but I find it vey satisfying.

Truly stunning 4K picture, good upscaling, almost too many picture modes/adjustments, HOME button access to Youtube, Netflix and a tons of apps/services. The remote is excellent, no longer need my Logitech universal, Sony remote controls DirecTV, receiver and DVD player functions, very nice. One negative is side viewing angle, not as good as plasma it replaced or OLEDs. But you have to be pretty far to a side in a large room to notice, normal front seating the picture is amazing, outstanding color and brightness, HDR takes it to another level. It is "pricey"

Superb picture, one annoying flaw with 3D

So, there isn't a lot more to say to add to the glowing reviews already out there, the picture quality is gorgeous; bright enough to make you squint and simply amazing black levels. Note I am more concerned with content than everything being perfect so I haven't run any specialized tests that show imperfect white and black levels, etc., I just wanted a great TV that gave me 4K capability and could still play 3D movies without issues distracting from being immersed in the movie, game, etc. Yes, it's so bright that for 3D movies it causes some flicker and crosstalk in the active 3D glasses, but the 3D picture is so amazing otherwise, the good overwhelms the bad. I have noticed in some cases in a completely dark room when the picture is supposed to fade to black, I can see faint splotches of light all over the screen, but it's not enough and doesn't occur often enough to be more than a minor annoyance. There is one issue that has driven me a little crazy though, for which I have removed one star. I bought the 65" version last year which was giving me a few issues, but mainly every couple of days when I would pop in a 3D movie to try out, I would get corruption visible through the glasses - a faint black flickering bar about a third of the way up the screen with major distortion of the 3D image (basically unwatchable). I figured it was my setup, but after troubleshooting with 2 3D Blu-ray players, 2 HDMI cables, bypassing my pre-amp and doing a hard power reset, I found the only way to recover the 3D picture was to do a factory reset (which annoyingly also wipes out all accounts, settings, etc.). This continued to occur every few days until Sony support got so sick of me calling them, they told me to return the TV as they had never heard of this issue and therefore it must be the TV. Now that I have the 75" version, I was disappointed to see this issue return. However, after having done the previous troubleshooting, I took troubleshooting to the next step, doing one change at a time, stopping and observing. I've discovered that if I use this TV as a monitor only, using only my TiVo, 3D Blu-ray player and Xbox One, the 3D corruption never occurs. When I attempt to use the apps that come installed with the Android OS, such as Netflix or Amazon Prime, as soon as I turn the TV off and back on, the 3D picture corruption is back. So, unless I'm missing something, it seems the Android OS, or the apps that come installed, are corrupting or conflicting with whatever software is being used to create the 3D effect. I'm reluctant to call Sony support again, so I e-mailed Sony instead using the e-mail address Sony provided for one of the reviews below, I'm waiting to see if I get a response. Has anyone else seen this issue occur, and if so, any other fixes besides a factory reset or using the TV as a monitor only? I hate that I will lose out on Dolby Vision as it seems that feature is only available on the apps that come installed with the TV.

I had a Pioneer Elite which was an outstanding TV and it still played but had none of the newer technology on it. So after researching all TV's and looking at them, we went with the Sony 75" Z90. It was brighter than an OLED TV but had just as good a picture, We added a Sony 4K DVD player, Apple 4K TV, and Sonos Center Channel and sub woofer. Since we had Amazon Prime, Vudu, and Netflix's we have all the movies covered. We also bought a few 4K DVD's just to see the real potential of the TV. To start the picture on the TV just watching the major broadcasting channels is excellent. Better than the Pioneer Elite which was very good, because its brighter and the colors are a little better. However with 4K products from DVD's and streaming it really shines. Picture is just excellent. I also love the Sonos center channel sound system. The sound is excellent and if you love music from any and every source you can image its the best. Not cheap, but the best and works just as advertised. The Apple 4K TV keeps everything organized in one nice neat package and easy to find. You don't really need it, but it does make things simple by having everything in one place. Their remote is terrible however. We had the system professional installed and everything works perfectly. We are looking at different remotes to do an all in one remote as we now use 2 or sometimes 3 which is a pain.. Overall just an excellent TV. Now lets see if it lasts as long as we kept the Pioneer Elite which was 10 years. Overall the picture quality is excellent. The sound is fabulous because of the Sonos system. You can't go wrong here. If you have about $8K to $9K to invest in an entertainment system, this is the one.

Ok due to burn in with my OLED G6P which was amazing, but eventually burn in ending that reign , so I'm spoiled with black levels so I remembered years ago sony releasing a led with a oled like image, I didn't believe it but I finally pulled the trigger, I was so nervous due this lcd being so expensive, and with possible blooming issues. I did HEAVY research and found that this 65 inch tv have 646 dimming zones and the 75 inch have 858 zones, this what gives the TV AMAZING blacks, so I decided to ahead with the 65 inch first, and WOW I was floored!!! Couldn't believed what I was seeing, I didn't realized how dim OLED picture is compared to this thing of beauty, 65 Z9d blacks aren't close but they are darn near close to OLED, but something in me wasn't satisfied, so I bought the 75 inch model, and LAWD how MERCY!! I ain't looking back!!!, the blacks, contrast, peek brightness, colors, are stupid GOOD!!! Really a well balance tv, Trust me I thought OLED could not be touched!!But the Z9D stole my heart! Sony image processing is another thing of beauty, not to many companies can compete! Hate I found out so late about this gem! This TV have 3d as well, and that is a showcase as well, how did I miss out years ago about this TV I don't no. But I'm so glad it came into my life, I believe in LED once again!!! To be honest OLED cannot complete with the price per performance on the 75 Z9D , it is to well balanced, Everything I love about what makes a great TV this unit haves 4000$ for a 75 inch tv that is to me better than OLED, you can''t beat it, so stop guessing around and get this baby, a 2016 tv that can still outshine current tv's, SONY made a GEM seriously!!!!!!!!!!!

Got this TV for our Family room. Size is perfect as we sit on L shaped sofa 10 feet away. We have this TV connected to an Onkyo TX-NR3030 11.2 AV receiver. The picture quality is second to none, setup was very easy, and the built in apps are very easy to access. I can't comment on the sound quality, as we are not using the TV speakers at all. Highly recommended.

    BEST 4K & 3D EVER (75" Z9D)

The Z9D is amazing, over twice as bright as the best OLED, no burn in issues with games or news, and incredible quality. We're die hard 3D fans, as we've been collecting 3D movies since buying the Panasonic Plasma in 2013. Infinity War 3D upscaled to 4K is way better than Infinity War 4K on the Sony Z9D. Best 3D I've ever seen in my life. The depth and clarity really puts you in the movie. We were blown away. We already owned the 3D blu ray for Infinity War, but after upgrading our TV to the Sony Z9D, we grabbed Infinity War 4K on sale for black friday for $15. So last night we took specific scenes (intro and final battles) and first watched in 4K, which is awesome, then put in the 3D to see if a 1080p 3D image upscaled to 4K would even come close or compare, and were blown away - it really was much better. No difference in clarity - which was a surprise, as I expected the 4K to be clearer, but the 3D upscale was just as good. But there are elements / movements in the fore/background that you see clearly in 3D that are not noticed or are out of focus in 2D 4K, and with the 3D it feels fully immersive - depth and clarity - like you're actually there in the movie, not just a TV on the wall - which regardless of how good it looks that's our experience when watching it in 4K. Grabbing the 75" Z9D for $4500 when it was originall $12K is icing on the cake for the best TV in the world. Thank you Best Buy and Sony.

Samsung bought my un78js8600 back. What a poor excuse for a flat panel 78" unit. This "z" is better than the oled - I assure you. Nothing upscales like this. Blacks are BLACK! Bright? Similar to the sun!! I'm NEVER buying anything from Samsung again.

Bought this TV $2000 off never looked back. Super brights (nlts) excellent blacks. Gives OLED something to catch up too! After I calibrated it my friend came over to view it and thought I was playing a 3-D movie, so much depth because of excellent contrast . If you can’t afford the 75” Go 65.
