By far the best camera for a working photography and videographer. There are definitely are cheaper solutions out there if your doing one or the other and want to compromise on one side or the other but if you do both and want an edge over others with out having to have separate high end video and photo bodies. This gives you the best of both worlds in a small body with the ability to buy an battery housing to go for long periods of shooting or be as compact as possible when your on the go and want to be light. 8k video 50mp+ stills this camera can’t be beat for me personally already owning so many Sony glass the it was an easy choice but for someone looking for a professional workhorse this camera deserves a good look over before you choose canon. I love canon and own older lenses but choose to move over with the a73 and this camera made that choice a rock solid one. Only complaint is for the price it could of had a flip screen but still five stars

This camera changed my life for the better! I remember way back when I got my first Sony cyber shot camera but now this Alpha 1 is top tier and I have be able to change settings quick and easy with the external functionalities! Sony really outdid themselves yet again!!! I took these photos of my 2022 ZL1 Exorcist Camaro with this camera!

Absolutely a delightful camera. Works exactly as advertised, and the better the glass you put on this puppy, the better it performs. After upgrading from a a7ii, the difference is beyond glorious. Not all that skilled with a camera? That's okay... this camera has your back. Even auto mode will take absolutely stunning photos.

Utterly blown away by the Resolution on both video and photos. At first I though...this camera was wayyy to expensive but.. wait till you get your hands on it! (I used it with the 35mm GM 1.4). One of the most stunning things that I doscovered that you can actually see stars when you point it to the sky at night. Truly blown away.

Great camera. I use it for wildlife a it is awesome. I came from the canon R5 with action there was quite a few misses. Sony produces in focus action. I would highly recommend. The only down fall is the lack of software updates.

It's been almost 40 years since I used a dedicated camera, so the change in technology is amazing. I'm still learning to use this camera, but so far it's been easy enough and intuitive. There are endless support resources available on the internet. No doubt this is an expensive camera, and the lenses are also costly, but the results are amazing.

What a beast! Sold my a9 and a7R IV to help pay for this and no regrets. Yes it’s a lot of money. Yes it’s worth it. If you’re a serious photographer or videographer, this is the camera to own. Simply amazing.

Fast and loaded with features for any photo project

I initially purchased the Sony 7SIII but the 12MP wasn’t good for photos until YouTube pointed me to this beauty. This is hands down the best hybrid camera ever. I did consider the Canon R5 and R6 but my goodness, it doesn’t come any close to the Sony A1.

Oh my gosh, i’m so happy I made the switch. My Canon 5DSr is good but my Sony A1 took it to a couple other levels. It took a couple weeks to get over that hurdle learning a new system. Much better image quality, way more features, and it works perfect alongside my Sony a7S III For my video clients. And for my portrait studio clients, I could not be happier.

So in all my research and the short time that I have had the camera I am very satisfied! If I had enough experience would help to give a better review! I am hearing several different opinions, some say it is the best camera on the planet! If it is then it is more then I deserve!!!

This may be the best camera in the history of mankind, and there is no one for the time being. It will garner all industry awards. Let's wait and see...mark 4/25/21

This is the best camera you can get right now! Having been a Sony shooter, for a while, I was finally looking to upgrade into the the Mirrorless system. Sony has quite a few models but they all seem to be lacking features that another model has. This one combines all of them!

The Full Frame Mirrorless camera on steroids. It's a beast and combined with G or G-Master lenses, the technology has progressed tremendously. This is the fourth Sony Alpha camera that I've owned and this one has leaped generations ahead. Worth the $ spent.

My husband is a die hard Sony enthusiast for still and video photography. This camera has become, by far, his top choice and when I asked him about the camera he said, "I love it."
