I’ve had this camera for about a year now & it’s a BEAST! I literally don’t put it down. These pro cameras are only worth it as long as u know what ur doing, bcus it is a huge learning curve. Even the kit lens that comes with it is amazing, but now I own MY Holy Trinity of lenses the Sony Gm 35mm f1.4, Sigma Art 85mm f1.4, & the Sigma 135mm f1.8 (eventually the Sony GM 70-200mm f2.8 OSSII) & once u get the big boy lenses u’ll realize how much of a workhorse this camera is! I’ve been doing events, portraits, full photoshoots, boudoir, Holiday, celebrity events & it’s been amazing! Everybody loves my work! I switched from a Nikon DSLR & I’m so happy I did! I’ll add some stills so u can see how good this lens is. I’m actually moving up to the Sony a7rIII now, but I’m still keeping the a7iii as a b-roll & second camera. Love love love this camera, for anyone else interested in photography this is a amazing choice. I will add my own photos too, I’ve been only using the kit lens as well. I hope to purchase a new lens soon. But I will say that even though the talk about the lot lens is negative I have to say that it’s actually really great overall. For a beginner this is perfect too. I bought my Sony alpha over a year ago, and with the resources that come along with Sony products and the resources online from other alpha users- i now have a photography side business that I credit to the AMAZING photos this camera takes. It’s easy to learn, intuitive when left in priority modes, and a blast to play with the foundational settings for a fully customized experience.

My first camera was a Canon T7i. After only a year, I quickly jumped ship when I saw what Sony was doing with their camera bodies. I sold it all off and managed to snag this at launch. You truly cannot go wrong with this camera. For a couple extra hundred dollars, you are getting some awesome features such as their 93% focus coverage and IBIS. It feels nice in the hands and I've had no issues with the battery as expected. Sigma is also soon releasing many ART prime lenses. With a 35mm or 50mm, it is a nice small set up. If you've been on the fence, just do yourself a favor and purchase it.

I have never had a camera and decided it was time so I did a lot of research in a short amount of time. I was between this (Sony A7III) and the Sony A6400. At first it was the price difference that had me going for the A6400 but it was when I thought long and hard about what I want to do, I started leaning to the A7III. It had everything I wanted when I laid out the specs so instead of going back and forth, I just said “Go big or go home”. Now I know there are far superior cameras out there but that motto fit me in the moment while I was between which would be my first camera. Also I’m the type of person that needs to get a solid, highly rated and “professional” piece of tech so that I have something that will meet my wants and needs for a while. I don’t want to settle for something less fun or capable while I learn, only to go out a year later and pay more money for the better device. I need the best now. With all that said, this camera is perfectly balanced, comfortable to hold in portrait or landscape, clear and easy to use controls and the layout and interfaces makes learning fun! I wanted a full frame sensor, 4K video, in body image stabilization, varying angle rear display, time lapse abilities built in and an abundance of ports. This has it all and then some. I like that there’s USB-C, two SD Card slots, mic input, headphone jack and a hot shoe. I really feel the possibilities are endless with this and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I can’t wait to learn and take stunning photos! I love architecture and scenic landscapes as well as street photography so I’m pumped to get this going!

I wanted to switch to a mirrorless camera. I wanted the newest Sony but couldn’t afford it so I settled for this one and I was not at all disappointed. It’s a great camera. Fun to take pics with. Shoots excellent quality photos. User friendly. Love it!

This camera has WOWED me in every way! Hasn’t let me down once YET lol. But so far so great! I recommend anyone on the fence to make the leap of faith and purchase this camera. I’m coming from the Sony A550 to the Nikon D750 to the Canon 5DIV and this A7iii is by far my favorite camera I’ve own! Why are you still reading this review? Go buy it already! Thank me later☺️

Sold all my Nikon gear to go mirrorless. Could not be happier. Amazing camera. Amazing quality of images and 4K video. The weight is so much less that my old Nikon D4s. After a shoot i would be exhausted. These feel like your working with a toy. But believe you me. These are anything but. This is a total work horse. Do your self a favor and buy 2 if you can.

I have this one as my second body, it’s amazing the Vídeo quality and how long the battery last

First time reviewer and an amateur photographer (started when I received this camera). Primarily would like to be a portrait photographer and wanted to test out the many functions of the camera on an "every day" theme. I youtube'd how to operate the camera and learned all of its functions going into this new hobby. I love this camera. Recently did a shoot with a group of family members for an hour and it turned out amazing. It was great that this camera went on sale too. 10/10

Amazing quality externally, and internally would definitely buy five more if I could, but it is an amazing camera and I definitely recommended to anybody that’s trying to go into photography

Great Camera! I purchased a samyang 85mm to use with and wow at the difference. I have used Full Frame Canon & Nikon and i def prefer this quality.

One of my favorite camera to use by far , excellent 4k pictures and excellent 4k video especially if your into more of the video side of stuff highly recommend

First time buying a new camera. Kit lens are amazing, easy to use and the fact it’s mirrorless omg the color in the images. Everything about this cámara is it!!!!
