I have no complaints regarding this camera whatsoever. One piece of advice would be to upload the photos directly to your laptop and email them to your phone from there. The app that allows you to transfer them from the camera directly to your phone is not only terrible to use, but it makes the photos lesser quality and adds a bit of blur to them. The photos I’ve added are taken by this camera with a FE 28-70 mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens that I purchased as a bundle with it.

Good even in 2024.

I would suggest getting a better lens ASAP as the kit lens is pretty bad. It’s great for a starting full frame camera. I sometimes wish I got the IV for the extra megapixels and video FPS but it’s been wonderful so far despite those two things.

It’s not too heavy and the pictures come out great. I take it on hikes with me and my dogs. Not the most user friendly but I’d still recommend it.

Best for beginners

Cannon mirrorless and Sony alpha a6000 this is the best upgrade. Even though this camera is few years old it can still keep up with current gen cameras. I clicked some crazy photos with this camera, absolutely love Sony alpha.

I have been able to use this is extremely hot and cold weather conditions without a problem. The 28-70mm lens that comes with it is also amazing for portrait photography. The a7iii is also very easy to pick up and use.

You will be immediately impressed with the results from the kit lens. Pair it with a prime lens and be prepared to be blown away. Sony has GREAT features, but you have to make sure you get the right lenses as well. @kamimphoto on instagram

Love at first shutter

It’s everything I’ve been look for and then some. I’ve been with Canon for the last 5 years, but I knew I needed to upgrade to create better content. I don’t regret this purchase and you won’t either. Only downside is that there isn’t a charger that comes with the camera, but I can still plug it in to charge accordingly.
