Great camera.

Easy to use especially if you have experience with Sony cameras. Easy to learn if not. But WOW. All kinds of great pictures. Love this camera. I’m a total tech member too. So the extended coverage seems worth it. I get all my stuff at Best Buy because of that too.

Sony A7RV is an exceptional camera

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony A7RV- The last camera I bought and it still works was the Sony Alpha A77 APSC crop sensor well most the glass I bought 85mm 1.4, 70-200 SSM G lens and 100 mm macro 2.8 ,70-300 SSM G lens and tons of other Alpha series A mount lenses.. Well with the Sony LA-EA5 A-mount Lens Adapter for E-mount Cameras I am able to use all this glass and they have never focused so fast on my other bodies SSM Amount lenses are silent and fast focusing no misses.. I thought Sony abandoned us A-mount users but they didnt they needed E mount lenses because 61 MP is going to show you the weakness of your lenses.. Dont even try the beer can its sadly a horrible lens under a full 61 mp.. but the 35-105 Minolta lens is pretty good for its age..but to add even more magic to this camera Sony added A full frame sensor and gives you the option to switch to A cropped mode so you can use the sweet spot of some old lenses or use crop sensor lenses.. or if you have a 100mm on you hit crop mode now you have 150mm without changing lenses at the cost of it being 26 MP but who cares phenominal.. So if you own A-mount and you have 6 old Sony flashes with the odd ball hot shoe well sony gave us a adapter Sony Multi Interface Shoe Adapter.. So I put on a Sony HVL -42 A.M. flash works perfect TTL exposure spot on all functions flawless Same with the Sony flash HVL- 58 A.M. HVL 46 A.M. The only thing that wont work the wireless optical but I use radio triggers so no big deal to me.. Onto the Camera A7RV the focus is crazy fast and it dont miss a picture or blur any there are so many focus settings in the menu.. The picture colors are spot on great color rendition Memory card:I found the Samsung pro ultimate 512 GB SDXC card works pretty good for all my pics and video I do it will record 8k and its a big file .. But if you want to be sure your getting every movie frame your gonna have to buy the Sony CFexpress type A memory card my videos look fine but I dont know if I am sacrificing frames for a cheaper memory card not sure.. But the Samsung wont bring disappointment for it being 512 gb at 62 dollars vs 960 GB of Sony CF express A memory costing $692 dollars.. I also use old Minolta Rokker lenses with an adapter on the Sony A7RV and since they are manual focus I use the zebra setting to see what's in focus.. Movie mode is great as long as you know the limitations of the camera more than I will ever need but if you want to see real clarity on your big screen TV it wont dissapoint.. no your Apple camera phone won't even hold a candle to it on the big screen.. The flip out rotate lcd on the back is a game changer its reall nice to angle it where I need it.. I also use remote shooting with my Samusung Ultra tab S9 so anyone I am shooting can see the shot as its happening on the 14 inch tablet beautiful.. The camera will also upload all my photos onto my tablet so I can edit them all on the fly love that I dont hook a cable to my pc anymore .. I am forgetting a 100 things but its a remarkable camera a.azing tool..

Best Camera Hands Down

The 61MP sensor makes for some high quality and beautiful images even when cropping in to a photo. Cant speak too much on video though as i dont really ahoot video.

61 MP sensor is amazing

60 MP Heaven

I have been testing with various f stops to get max DOF. The results are amazing and sharp. I can also shoot in APS-c mode using my canon lens with the sigma mc-11 adapter. However there are some functions not available when using the adapter. But that's ok. I'm loving the MP madness. The focus tracking is so accurate. Plenty of buttons to also customize various functions of theA7R5. The articulating screen is another plus for various shooting angles. Buy this camera you will love it. Recommend to all. Buy it.

Missing the free “extras”

Highly recommended. The website ad said you get a free 8 x 8 photo book from Snapbook. No such thing was ever included. Very misleading in their advertisement.
