I don’t even know where to start…. But I will start here. This is NOT a perfect camera. However, no camera is. But, for the price point, it’s really hard to beat. If you check the YouTube videos, you will see everyone talking about the capabilities of this camera. I can’t deny any of the capabilities. The low-light performance is tremendous - especially when you pair it with a quality lens like the Sigma 24-70 f2.8. The dual native ISO took a bit getting used to, especially at ISO 12,800. My suggestion is to get a variable ND Filter to save you the time and frustration of over-exposing your shots - even for S-Log3. Since I am primarily a videographer, it works perfect for me. When taking photos, I do see some lacking in the quality because of its 12 megapixel sensor, but I knew what I signed up for when I purchased. Coming from the Canon ecosystem, and from DSLR lines, this camera is hard to have buyers mobile remorse for. It was everything I wanted in a mirrorless video-centric camera. I am trying to use this more for vlogging but I also have the ZV-E10 and that camera is great because of how small it is. Lugging the A7SIII around all day, especially with a bigger zoom lens can start to wear on you. I’m currently using it with the Atomos Ninja V+ and the quality that comes out of this thing is just unbelievable. That ProRes RAW footage is astounding. The one thing I will say is that to get the most out of this camera, you need to understand how to color correct and color grade S-Log 3 footage. There is no getting around it. If you don’t, you may as well get an APS-C camera like the ZV-E10 (or any other 8-bit camera) and get a better lens - depending on your goals. That will save you a ton of cash.

Absolutely love this camera! The Sony A7SIII delivers incredible video quality, especially in low light. The autofocus is fast and accurate, and the colors look beautiful straight out of the camera. Perfect for content creators or filmmakers who want professional results in a compact setup. Totally worth the investment!

I recently purchased the Sony a7 III from Best Buy, and I couldn't be more satisfied! The camera's image quality is outstanding, capturing sharp, vibrant photos even in low light. The autofocus is incredibly fast and accurate, making it perfect for both stills and video. Best Buy offered a competitive price, and the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The checkout process was smooth and quick. I highly recommend the Sony a7 III and purchasing from Best Buy!

With every iteration of this camera I am blown away. The compact size, long lasting battery, incredible low-light, and now beautiful, clean, crisp 60fps footage at 4K. This camera slaps.

This camera is great for shooting 4k video, especially in low light situations. I've never owned a digital camera that wasn't an iPhone, and the video footage on this thing is insane. Even though this camera only has 12MP, each megapixel is 8.4 microns big. That's almost five times bigger than the pixel size of an iPhone 12 Pro Max. The 4K footage is insane, especially if you shoot in S-Log 3 or in ProRes Raw using a Ninja V. As for the stills, there's not the greatest, but they beat any smartphone out on the market, and a lot of cheaper DSLR's and Mirrorless Cameras as well. If You want great stills go with the Sony Alpha 1, if you want great video especially in low light go with the Sony Alpha 7S III.

Excellent 4K 60 Fps video withiut overheating (3 hours). Great low light.

Amazing video camera. Needed a dedicated work horse as my A7iv kept over heating (especially 60fps) and this thing sure delivers. Was awesome to have the EVF as well so I could take pictures. For the price, there isn't another camera out there that delivers what this does. up to 4k120 FF with no crop, IBIS, low light performance, Slog3, S-cinetone.

Best video camera around that doubles as a photography camera. Note that 12 Megapixels is enough for digital publishing and printing. when you plan on doing photography with this camera make sure you have the scene you want as cropping is not really much of an option due to the low Megapixel count. Regardless, it's an amazing camera that takes amazing low light video and images.

I love this camera. Dual base ISO. So great for night videography. Had it a couple years now and it’s the best camera ever. Video focused with photo capabilities.

A fantastic camera. Great quality and perfect for professional videographers. A little hard to figure out at first but once all your settings are set then it’s not hard to use

I ONLY upgraded this camera from the Sony A7SII because of the Auto Focus and the 240fps. Without, I wouldn't have bought it. I had saved up cash to make this purchase and it hit different this time when I handed over $4000 cash for this camera. lol. File sizes are WAY bigger than the A7SII files!

The Sony a7SIII is an amazing piece of tech. The quality of video this camera can produce is mind blowing. Sony continues to improve on their auto-focus & stabilization. Depending on the lens you’re using, you almost don’t need a gimbal for basic movements.

This camera is simply the low light king! It is an amazing addition to the team of cameras we use for our wedding/commercial business. The versatility it offers as well with IBIS it’s second to none.

Videos are very clear and it is a relatively easy to use camera for both videos and pictures. It is also easy to use for a one man crew. We have two of these set up on a one person crew.

This is an amazing camera! Nice sharp image, beautiful colors, excellent in low light, and slow motion capabilities. It’s so good I have 2 of them!

I am absolutely blown away by this camera. I bought it alongside an Atomos Ninja V, and have shot a decent amount both internally (10bit 4:2:2 h264) and externally (10bit 4:2:2 Prores). ProRes definitely adds a lot of clarity and flexibility to color grading but holy crap the internal footage is nothing to sneeze at! I previously owned an a7iii and was disappointed how badly it captured Log footage. This camera puts all of that to rest. I only shoot in Log now, and it’s the best footage I’ve ever had in my life. I use the Phantom Arri LUTS with the footage and it almost entirely negates the need to color grade (almost, not entirely) HIGHLY recommend this camera!
