Small, packed with extra features and at an attractive price point, this DSLR is ideal for either a novice or a photographer vested in SONY lenses and in need of Autofocus during Video recording.

Great camera-but has it own limitations

It is almost too good to compare with nikon. But when I use it in burst mode, it does not fire well. It may be due to thee flash needs to be recharged. It fire randomly. Its on slightly slower side when tracking the people to take a shot. But overall satisfied for the price paid and the options available with the camera.

Easy transition for previous Sony Alpha user.

It was a fairly easy transition since many of the menus are similar. I took the new camera on vacation and was very pleased with the photos. There a numerous features on the camera that will take a while to learn, but I believe that it was a good choice for a DSLR.

Great 1st dslr camera

The lens that came with the camera was fair, just not of the quality I would have liked. Also was disappointed when I found that I needed to purchase an additional memory card before the camera would function.

Good camera, but not fast enough
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I currently own a Nikon D5100. Compared to it this came is on slower side, when take photos of children. It takes time to focus, by that time you will miss the moment you want to capture. Picture quality is good. But camera autofocus is not fast enough to take pics of KIDS. I used both cameras taking shots of my kid. Nikon is fast and you wont miss a moment. With this camera you will miss what you want to shoot. But overall I give 4 stars because of price and image quality.
