Purchased to upgrade from cybershot camera. Lens and image quality is great. Small frame makes it easy to travel with.

Record button location and flash make a shade on the photos but excellent camara to starting

Great camera, super amazing zoom, great crisp colors. one neg i would say is when you use the flash the lens get in the way and causes a black circle

This camera made my wife angry...until i took some awesome pictures of her that won me awards on a few sites that i uploaded them to. This camera has gotten me hired for photography jobs and it has paid for itself many tines over. Sony never disappoints.

If your looking for a light easily to carry system this is the one. Some of the challenges are making quick adjustments and getting through the menu. Proper DSLR is just more user friendly for adjusting on the fly. Also not quite sure about lens selection, its limited. Miss large aperture lenses. I'll update this in a few month after I become a bit more familiar with layout. Overall a highly capable camera that is light and accurate.

This is an upgrade for me on a camera. I used to have the A6000 and loved it. After I purchased this A6500 and started using it, I can clearly tell the differences between the 2 models and the quality is amazing from the A6500. I am very happy with this purchase/upgrade!

Awesome, used for all your professional and non professional needs, why buy a starter camera, just pay a little more and get this camera and have everything you need to take photos, make commercials or movies.

Got this camera for Christmas. It takes great pictures and has many functions I'm not familiar with. Watching youtube videos and learning the programable functions as i am a novice. Looking forward to improving my pictures.

I upgraded from the a6000 and I am glad I did. The options on this camera are great and I can see a noticeable difference in the clarity of the pictures. I am much happier with this camera than the a6000.

The A6500 is packed with features in a compact package. It's easy to use and takes fantastic pictures. I upgraded from the Mark V because I wanted the ability to zoom more and I couldn't be more pleased!

Having a big family means more celebrations. This camera takes great quality images we will be able to cherish. With wi-fi capability to share our images is one of the best features I love about the camera.

I bought this a month or so ago and I travel with it everyday! Excellent for 4K videos and shoots at 120fps at full HD. Also take great quality pictures with a HDR for editing in post!

Bought this camera for my wife a few weeks ago. Has been one of the best purchases I’ve made in awhile. Would highly recommend this camera.

To be honest this is a very good camera. The reason i returned it is because i wanted the A73. Its not a knock against this camera.
