    Install and setup was pretty straightforward and easy. The app works well, video and audio recording is good. Lights up a significant area for sure. The viewing angle doesn't seem to be as wide as a Ring, but covers enough to satisfy me.

    Worked great for about 5 months. Had to install new app per manufacturer. Never worked again. Wasted hours emailing and on phone with customer service. Lights even stopped working around month 6.

    If you are looking for a product that doesn't operate properly, and sometimes not at all, then this is DEFINITELY for you! If you are familiar with wiring, then it's easy installation, but that's it!! That is the extent of my 1 star rating. The app is buggy, very poorly developed. You can turn on the floodlight from the app, but there is a significant delay. You can turn on the alarm, but the delay is even more significant. Forget about talking through the two-way communication. Press the button on the app, and it sounds like it's picking up frequencies from far, far away. Talk into it, and there will be a good 7 second delay before the other end hears you. Most times when you talk into it, you will hear an echo of what you just said. This camera will not function for a week straight. Every four days or so, I have to reset the camera because it stops sending notifications. After I reset it, it will send them again. When it it sending notifications, half the time it will send 5, 6, 7 in a row to catch up what it wasn't sending me. Maybe that's why it stops working altogether, because it's too much to catch up. Right now, without changing anything recently to either the camera or my wifi, this camera says it's 5 hours ahead of the actual time. I've reset the camera and my router multiple times and still is not fixed. The app says the camera is up-to-date so who knows what the problem is now. I contacted customer service and asked if I can return the defective product even though it's been longer than 30 days and they said that I would have to take it to the place of purchase or if I bought it from them directly, it would have to be within the 30 day time frame. I emailed them back and said there's a year warranty and they should be responsible for the defective product and haven't heard back from them after multiple attempts for them to rectify the problem. I'm trying to figure out what's good about this product, but I'm having a really tough time. This is my first purchase in this space. I saw the Ring Floodlight cam and opted against it because I had high hopes for the underdog; bad decision on my part! I'm sure they will respond to this review with "a wifi problem". That would be an easy thing to blame. But EVERYTHING else works perfectly on my wifi. This is the ONLY device that doesn't work properly. They might also say "We are sorry for any inconvenience and we will help..." You've had that chance in the email. If it costs me $180 to figure out that I will NEVER buy a product from this company, it's money well spent. It won't be the first time, nor the last I'm sure. That's the best and worst part of a free market!!!

This unit will rely on an internet connection in order to communicate commands to the camera. Slowdowns or interruptions in your network can contribute to a delayed response. This is not common, although we can suggest using a Wifi extender to help improve your experience. Our support team is able to troubleshoot and identify the issues you are having.     Great LED Security light and Really good Camera

    This is a really good security floodlight. I put this up where my porch light hung above my door. The installation was very easy when following the picture instructions. The Swann App made connecting the camera to my wireless signal very easy. The App has great options and the camera has really good resolution. The ability to move the lights and the camera in the direction that gives you the greatest security coverage is terrific. The 2 way voice communication is of good quality. This really has given me a great sense of security of having eyes to the front of my property when I am not home.

    Unable to connect to any wifi. I have 2 wifi. It still couldn't connect to any of my wifi. Nothing else is connected to my wife. Only my phone. I need to return this ASAP. Or swan needs to send a technician to connect this for me, please don't tell me to call customer support to troubleshoot. I need someone dispatched to come and make it work. I have already spent money getting an electrician to hard wire it to my out door light wiring.

Sometimes setting up Wi-Fi can be tricky as Wi-Fi passwords are CASE sensitive and sometimes complex as well. To confirm you have the correct Wi-Fi settings and password simply follow the same process as you did to initially set up the camera as outlined in the Quick Start Guide and User Manual, taking care to enter the password exactly as it appears on your Wi-Fi network device. Also make sure your phone is connected to the network you want to connect your camera to before you start the setup, as this information is saved on the camera during the setup process. If all of the details are correct and it still appears as offline, move your camera closer to your Wi-Fi and see if you can connect.

      If this does not help, you will require to call in and speak with our Technical Support. Swann does not offer any installation services nor dispatch for house calls. All support is online.

    when it works it's great but looses contact with router. Swann has changed the app and it does seem more reliable but have to wait and see if they have cured the issues.

    I have recently purchased a Swann Floodlight on sale from Best Buy, that after a week of great operation has failed (constantly detecting motion, and at night the floodlight continually comes on/off). I want to get it replaced with a non-defective one, but my local Best Buy is out of them. I know I can return this one to them, but I would like Swann to be directly involved in getting this resolved. Can a Swann rep reply here to help me?

    The camera will record when there's nothing there. The light turns on when no motion out side. There Is no way to turn down or up the motion sensitivity.

    Bought this in Nov, 2019 and set up was easy. Now in June 2020, Swan has opted for a different App and the migration process has rendered the camera useless. The Swan Customer Service is clueless or swan just wants its customers to buy the latest edition cameras. Do not buy, otherwise it will be a waste of money. I will buy any Swan products again.

    Not easy to set up get a lab top or a tablet to see all the screen prompts that you will never see on your phone. Even if you have a good phone.

    Returned this item the same day I received it, could not get it to pair with my phone. Good construction but what difference does it make if you can't get the thing to work. Easy to install but difficult to set up. Kept getting error messages regarding internet connection. I do not recommend this product.

    I was looking to purchase floodlights for both, the left and right sides of the my house; when I came in contact with this model, it was a no brainer. The app to control the light works as intended. No complaints thus far. Of note, you really need a strong wifi signal to prevent constant disconnect.

    after their 3rd party App co. Quit they quit.

    Do not buy, I bought 3. they worked fine until their 3rd party co. that supplied there software quit. then the lights became useless pieces of metal. Swann should have refunded all that bought these useless lights.
