This works perfect for newer laptops. Being that they are thin and have only two usb ports. It keeps them from over heating and having extra usb ports to handle all the extra hardware such as a graphics tablet, wireless mouse and an external harddrive for software is a real plus.

I liked the adjustable height of the chill mat and the USB ports and it was super cool, but it was NOISY! I traded in my first for a replacement thinking I had a defective model, but the 2nd one had the same high-pitched oscillation coming from the left fan as the 1st. Plus, it was cheaply constructed leading me to think that if I didn't adjust the height very carefully, it would break. Now I am looking for something else. Good price point, but the whine drove me crazy.

Had to throw my old one and found this one to my liking. Now it gets more cool air to my lapptop

Some people say these types of fans/stands are not necessary, but coming from someone who has ruined a few laptops by leaving them on top of the bed and plugged in for hours at a time, they are a godsend. Great cooling and super quiet. The additional USB ports are also a plus.

It is a good efficient cooling device. Only problems I had are that the bottom sticker pads fall frequently but you may stick them again and frequently one of the fans makes a loud noise when I first connect it but I plug/ unplug until sound is gone. No other problem, it cools down my laptop nicely so I am happy.

This gift was perfect for my husband. He loved this to cool the laptop and keep it lifted off his lap. He’s able to rest his wrists properly and give good ventilation to his laptop while he’s using it. This was a good gift for him.

Sure, the fans whirled. But I didn't see any noticeable difference in my laptop's heat. Maybe 1 degree less. I used OCCT and GPU-Z to monitor the heat. I have a 17" Asus Gamer G75. PROs: I read other reviews about this being loud. I didn't find it to be loud. Maybe my overheating laptop's fan was louder than this, so my definition of loud is different. CONs: When I do use it in 'tilt' mode, I can't really type on the laptop's keyboard because the mat is too bouncy / squishy. I realize the instructions said something about making it flat if I want to use the laptop's keyboard. I find out after opening the box that there's an "optional" power cord I have to purchase separately if I don't want to use my laptop as the power source. I was trying to avoid plugging in any additional devices to my laptop.

Chill mat is great except 1 rubber foot keeps coming off. Like the way it elevates, great for laptop in a recliner

Purchased Chill-Mat to keep laptop cool and incline the keyboard for easier keyboard access.

Chill Mat solved my problem with overheating laptop. Makes hardly a whisper.

I like the flexibility of raising and lowering my laptop when using this device. I also like how it keeps my laptop (and my legs) from becoming too hot. Did not give five stars because sometimes I have trouble lowering the device to the flat position—but this could be the operator and not the equipment.
