Most definitely not the model to go with if you want prime time visuals. The most negative aspect of this model is the reaction time for the TV. In and out of menus, connectivity to internet in home, etc. Really don’t know what you get until you get it home and use it for a week.

Bad TV! I would not buy again.

It starts without picture and I have to unplug it and plug it back in numerous times until the picture comes up.

Dead on arrival

I was expecting a low quality seeing as it still has the same amount of pixels as a smaller tv. What I did not expect is it to not work at all. It arrived yesterday. I opened it and at first the screen came on and it made a sound...and then it turned off. It did not turn back on. and it did not make any sounds. I called TCL customer support and they guided me through the process that is supposed to reset tv. They said it is likely a faulty backlight and to return it to best buy since I am within my return period.

wont stay connected to wifi and crashes alot

NO. just no. i gotten this thing on black friday 2021 thinking it was a good deal for the price. i mean $500 you cant beat that for a 75" 4K tv right. and with the employees good sayings about it. okay ill buy it. at first everything seemed okay. knowing android things were going to be slow. it only got worst in time. i will never again buy an android tv. it constantly disconnects from my wifi. all the devices in my house stay connected but not this thing. apps crash more than the usual. its slow to process things like loading apps. installing apps. only reason im giving this 1 stars is because the picture is great. nice and sharp. THATS IT!!! everything else nope. i will never buy another android tv again. this thing is just as problematic as my android phone i just to have years ago. now im with apple and never had another issue. i still have my 65" roku tv from black Friday 2020 and that thing is doing better than this piece of crap. I like TCL but yall put the wrong operating system in this one.

Worse than horrible

Both have performance issues, as in it takes minutes just to boot up and one was dead after a year. Installed apps like Netflix and Sling take way too long to load and occasionally crash a minute or two after loading. You have to unplug the TV from the wall every week or two because nothing will work after an app crashes a few times. All of this seems like a TV that has very low memory and/or corrupt memory/OS. Note that I've observed this with both TVs. To top it off, one of the TVs started getting dead pixels, then a whole line was missing from the screen, then a few lines, and finally, no picture at all after about 3 minutes. But hey, at least I could hear my TV programs. A complete waste of time and money.

STAY AWAY

Tv worked fine for the first four days. On the fifth day it started, the tv would turn on fine and then fade to black. I had purchased geek squad with the tv, which was a nightmare in itself, and was told they couldn't fix it. It would have been fine if I would have been able to get a new one but they said they couldn't even order it. Upon trying to return it to purchase a new one, I had an even worse experience with the customer service. All in all, a terrible experience. Still haven't been refunded for a tv I returned two weeks ago to top it off.

Disappointed in my 75” TCL

Was watching a movie and heard a popping sound come from the back of the tv, followed by a burning smell. Now it doesn’t work. Super disappointed that’s all we got out of it. The tv was fine up until that point. Can’t say I’ll buy another TCL because of this experience.

poor pefrormance

We have been through all the help processes with TCL and are waiting for them to decide if they are going to fix a TV that is less than 6 months old. I tried getting assistance from Best Buy but they just referred me to TC L again and TCL gives lip service promising to get back to me but they never do. I do not recommend this product and based on the lack of assistance I have been given by Best Buy I can't recommend them as a retailer either.

Dead at 7 weeks

Got it for $500 on sale and for that price it was average at best. Not great in a bright room as the screen couldn't compete with open blinds. Night time viewing was fine though. Then it started to randomly shut off. This happened about 10 times one day, the next day it wouldn't turn on at all. Returned to Best Buy and picked up an LG which performs worlds better in a bright room, and the picture in general is far superior.

A disappointing Christmas Gift....

When I opened the box the only thing in it was the TV itself. No power cord, remote, or the TV stand. And this was a brand new purchase, not a floor model or open box. On a positive note I will say that Best Buy has been awesome. They replaced it with a better TV and even delivered it.

Terrible service mediocre TV

Tried to find something to watch and found out it is EXTREMELY slow. Just trying to scroll through the menu in Hulu took so long I shut it off. Called Best Buy and they told me that is expected from a cheap tv. Great...would have been nice if they told me that when I purchased it from them. More angry with Best Buy than TCL.

TLC and BestBuy are the worst

I got this TV and it's not working after 10 months, and when I call BestBuy support for warranty they came and fixed it then it's not working again after only 10 Days. BestBuy support was so bad and they keep busing my request for re-fix till I'm out of warranty.

Loses connection

Sound issues
