    I bought this TV as a Black Friday deal for $499. I previously had a 55" series 4 TCL Roku TV. I think the 55" tv had a better image quality than this 75" tv. The 75" tv suffers from noticeable black clouding during dark scenes. The panel I received also has very noticeable backlight bleed on the bottom bezel. Watching wide screen movies means this bleed is visible the entire time. It is not noticeable during full screen shows. Between the backlight bleed and the black clouding, I would say that you get what you pay for. It is a really big, really cheap tv. I would return it if it wasn't such a hassle, being such a physically large item. HDMI arc works with my 5.1 surround sound system. USB light strip turns off and on with the tv. TV shows - 4/5 stars Movies - 2/5 stars The redeeming factor is the price. However, if I could go back in time I would save up for a higher quality panel.

    HDR is HORRENDOUS

    For the price, it’s hard to complain about too much. With that being said, the HDR is absolutely horrendous. I have a 4K fire stick, and have also used the native Disney + app. When displaying non HDR content through some of the native apps, the TV looks great, but anything in HDR looks terrible. I can’t understand why the software doesn’t have a setting to allow you to turn the HDR off. Content looks so much better on this TV when it’s not HDR. Since the TV automatically detects HDR, the 4K fire stick is useless.

    Bought when it was on sale for $499. Tv is nice for the price and quality seems pretty good so far. Wish there was a way to fine tune the colors and a few more hdmi inputs. Still not bad for the price as mentioned. Would recommend if you’re on a budget and don’t need more than a big tv with a decent picture. The fact that it is a Android tv is awesome. Many apps to download and some a very useful.

    Good Value Large Budget TV

    The TCL 4 series is a budget TV. Hoping that it is something more than that is going to leave you disappointed. That said, if you are looking for a 4K TV to watch Netflix or play Nintendo Switch, this is a great choice. I bought this for my mother to enjoy while at home quarantining and it has been a revelation for her. She feels like she has her own home theatre. However, if you want a true home theatre, I would suggest spending more money.

    You probably know what you're getting when you buy a big cheap TV like this. The built-in apps are slow, there aren't a lot of customization options, the color and brightness aren't great, HDMI-CEC support is lacking, the TV speakers suck, etc., etc. I do recommend it if you can get it on sale and will use it in a secondary room. Just don't use this as your main TV or you'll probably be disappointed.

    No Disney Plus

    Cannot download Disney Plus App. There is a picture of Disney Plus on the box, and it is listed as one of the compatible apps, but when you try to download it, the TV says "Not compatible with this device" We did not want to have to add a fire stick or cast from a phone every time we watched something on Disney Plus, so we rerurned the TV. So sad! Everything else...picture quality, sound, system setup...was great.

    The TV is great for its value. However, with great value comes with flaws. I noticed that top right corner of screen displays white lines at times, I could solve the issue by turning it off and back on. Also there are competing TVs out there with similar price or barely more expensive but have 120 hz refresh rate. I would recommend paying a little more for the 120 hz refresh rate.

    Soundbar difficult to connect.

    So far it okay. I was unable to connect the Vizio soundbar 5.1 using ARC HDMI or bluetooth device. The only connection that worked is optic. I thought the HDMI cable was bad but I was able to connect with Vizio TV. I didn't call the TCL or Best Buy to assist since one of the connection is working. The picture is fine.

    We are pleased with the TV however the compatibility of added components is difficult like a sound bar, Cable box, DVD player etc. The color is good the volume/speakers are not great but with a sound bar things work well.

    Picture and sounds are amazing, however the WiFi has continually given issues connecting. I have to unplug, and plug back in the power cord to fix the connection issue.

    This tv is def average for it being a TLC and seeing how well the series 6 is doing. We bought a 70 inch hisense smart androod tv and the picture is clearer and the sound is 1k times better quality tv then this. At this point, sound and picture quality abolutely beat the size of a tv. But if you want large this would be one of the best lowest priced largest tvs to do what it is made for.
