Amazing TV pictures quality is great, bright display

It’s honestly A great buy for the price… But A few aspects definitely left me disappointed. My JBL 5.1 sound bar subwoofer sounds like garbage with it, The overall picture quality was underwhelming, And I truly despise the remote… The overall build quality Definitely feels cheap. But in the TV’s defense I am extremely critical… looking back, I should’ve Spent more and got the Sony Bravia 9.

We are very happy with our new television and the people from BestBuy that installed it.

Just received this model and it has a huge red discoloration spot in middle of screen! It also has a software issue where the picture settings/mode don’t save after you have made all your changes! Exchanged the 75Q750G in for this model because it was having hdmi and picure setting problems also! It just switches back to vivid mode when you return to the main screen after leaving an app. When you go to an HDR10 or Dolby Vision content and make your changes, it just reverts back to the standard Dolby Vision Dark mode, even though I changed it to Dolby Vision Bright mode! So very disappointed, because I also have the TCL 65Q750G, and that set has no problems!

Nor a good tv. Clarity for small persons is not good. Looks blurry, you’ll know when you watch sport’s game. It’s also flickering on movies seems like there’s pop-up aura.

I wasn't sure about TCL since I've always been a Sony and Samsung loyal customer. But, money is not what it used to be and I wanted more bang for my buck. Well, I definitely got it! With this TV, you not only get some awesome options, you get a BRIGHT, beautiful screen! My PS5 games look COMPLETELY different from my old Samsung. Then, you get some GREAT sound as well! This is one of the best sounding TV's I've had the experience to listen to out of the box. The Best Buy delivery drivers dropped the edge of the box (which sucked) but the TV is still flawless. I have to say the detail, the brightness, the sound, and the EASE of setting this tv are amazing. If you are not familiar with TCL, give them a try. For the price, you cannot beat this amazing TV. All my friends and family who come over are amazed at the crisp detail. I have a hard time pulling myself away from my games now, due to the immersion of colors, sound and amazing refresh rate. If you get this TV, you will not be disappointed PLUS you still have some change to pay your electric bill! (and eat a meal lol)

I just set up my TCL 75QM7 TV and man am I impressed. I previously had a 55 inch Sony TV and I’m blown away by the brightness and how much more vivid the colors are than my old TV. This TCL 75QM7 series model has such a sleek design and having easy access to all of my apps and favorite shows through Google TV makes it so easy to use. When I decided to treat myself to a new TV of course I went to Best Buy so I could see a broad selection of TVs and compare them side by side. The Best Buy employee was very knowledgeable and helpful. After comparing the picture quality, features, and relative costs of the Sony, Samsung, and TCL TVs in my price range I concluded that the best value for what I was looking for was the TCL 75 inch QM7 TV. Bottom line is I saved several hundred dollars with the TCL TV and got a larger screen size without having to compromise on quality or features. My purchasing experience through Best Buy and my new TCL 75QM7 series TV have completely exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend TCL to anyone looking for a new TV.

I sold TVs for about fifteen years. I know that, technically, there are much better TVs out there. This doesn't have perfect color or image processing and it's not an old, trusted brand. It's a great TV, though. The color is great. The picture is sharp. The brightness and local dimming are excellent. There's even a built-in DVR, sort of; if you plug a flash drive into the USB port, you can pause live TV from an antenna for a pretty significant amount of time (depending on the capacity of the flash drive). I use an antenna to watch live sports, so I couldn't have been happier to find that out.

This tv ounches way above its weight class. The pros: Bright, crispy image with very good color reproduction. Excellent contrast. Fantastic price for its size and tech. Cons: you have to disable smoothe motion effects twice. Once in the main menu and then again WHILE PLAYING SOEMTHING IN DOLBY VISION. Dolby Vision (netflix, disney+, etc) turns on motion smoothing and you cant disable that setting for Dolby Vision until something in dolby vision is in the middle of playing. There are youtube videos on this. The tv isnt set for opitmal image out of the box. Ypu need to watch some youtube videos and experiemwnt with their recommended settings. When unboxing be careful peeling away the package. TCL added a small metal clip with the TCL logo on the upper right edge of the screen. Use a hairdryer to warm it ao the glue loosens before you slowly carefully remove it or you might chip or scratch the edge of the tv or screen. Overall, for the price, this thing is a great step up from traditional led and qled tv’s.

I did thorough research trying to find the best bang for the buck. Let me tell you why I landed on this. You’re getting lots in that price range as far as mini led, refresh rate, colors, options and so much more. I love it and I’m glad I made the purchase instead of the Sony for double the price.

Out of the blue, I decided to purchase a new TV on Super Bowl. My wife thought I was nuts. At the time, I had a 5 year old 55” Samsung and. 65” Sony that was about two years old. They both show great pictures. At Best Buy, the sales Rep asked me if I had any questions. I usually study more but since then was last minute, I decided to be more spontaneous. I only knew I wanted at least 75”. I did NOT want another samsung. The 75” Sony was not in my budget. Then when I was about to give up he asked me if I had heard about TCL. I was like, “Naw man. Ain’t that like the tozaj watch of tvs”? He laughed at me. But he told me they were the official tv of the nfl. So I pulled my phone out and started doing some quick reading. So I pulled the trigger on the 75” and got it home. Dang! This thing was pretty heavy! And I thought the stand was broken but it wasn’t. It makes the tv look like it’s floating. I didn’t feel that comfortable with all that weight being suspended by 4 screws. Eventually I used a hanging system that keeps out flush against the wall. After getting it connected and making some adjustments, I fell in love. The pic is the best I’ve ever had. But when I put on Star Trek, Brave New Worlds, my mouth hit the floor. This thing is absolutely miraculous. I’d like to say don’t judge a tv by its name. This thing is a sleeper. It looks and sounds great. I also have it connected to a Sony Soundbar system with a sub. Give em a shot. You won’t regret it.

So I have an LG OLED in primary home. Was looking to upgrade TV in second home but did not want to pay the price for OLED. This TV hit the sweet spot. Owned it a month and like the picture quality, brightness and smooth motion when watching sports. The mini-LED is just a step down from OLED. Did have to adjust color and tint. I googled what others had done and found a good set of numbers to use without spending time doing it myself. Also was amazed at the sound quality. Better than the LG I have. Bought this on sale and then was able to hit price match later when Best Buy dropped it another $300. So was able to buy at $999 with price match. Highly recommended!

I’m just a normal dude and this review is for other normal, non-TV enthusiast readers. I spent a lot of time trying to find the right TV for me. This is the one I landed on (between this, the QM8, and U8N), and I’m glad this was what I went for. Unless you have a trained eye, this TV is much much more than sufficient. The other TVs mentioned are better spec wise for sure, but likely no way on earth I’d be able to tell the difference between any of them even if they were side by side. For the average person, save the money - this should suit most people’s needs The only hiccup was the first TV arrived damaged, but Best Buy was quick to right the ship. I’m frankly surprised the second TV wasn’t damaged after watching how the deliverers handled it. The dude took it out of the truck by himself and whipped it around like one of those guys on the side of the road advertising some business (he was super nice though). I would recommend watching them with your own eyes, or even videoing, as they take it out just in case anyone gives you any trouble Also, get a soundbar if you can. Sound is good, not great

Awesome picture! Easy to use. Sometimes a little sluggish but a reset of the TV’s operating system typically takes care of it.
