My TV isn’t a smart tv so I was very impressed how well and easy it was to program the remote without complicated steps. I recently purchased RCA - 3-Device Universal Remote - Black but I returned it because i wasn’t able to program it to my TV although the label mentioned Sanyo TVs. I am very happy with my purchase.

I hate this remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The battery in this remote runs down sometimes in 2-3 weeks. When the battery does work, the remote loses its programming connection to the TV on a whim and does not easily reaccept the programming. You have to remove the batteries and put them back in, cross your fingers, stand on one foot, plug in the programming code, watch the remote's lights work as promised and... then it still may not work. I hate this remote.

Overpriced, poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up but two buttons died within 2 months of purchase. Very light, cheap feeling. Buttons are noisy, not comfortable to the touch. Should retail for less than $8. Basically, it's junk.

No Amplifier support, not learning remote.

But it doesn’t support amplifiers, and I can’t train it basically need column). Seems well built, uses button cells which might get costly. Returning tomorrow.

DOES NOT WORK WITH SOUNDBARS

There are codes for darn near everything included, even my Xbox, but not even a section titled "Soundbars." No codes. Zip. Zero. None. So it is easy to program and works fine with my Xbox and my Samsung TV, but if I can't find a way to make it work with the soundbar, I'll return it.
