This product is fast and easy to use once you get familiar with the software. It does take a little time to do that due to being so many options. It does skew all of my scans when they are scanned. I have been going in and cropping each page. There is an alignment adjustment for it but I have not been able to try to fix it yet. It would probably fix it if I had the time to work with it. It was like that out of the box.

I use my Neat scanner to organize my lessons for each grade level. I like how I can scan the items that is double sided without a hassle. Most of my documents are now scanned to PDF. When scanning double sided or colored documents it does take some time to process depending on the computer. Black and white double sided copies are quicker. I scanned a 25 page double sided document and it took about 5 min. I tried the scanning business cards and it works just like it states. I bought the Neat program mostly to dwindle my stacks of documents from school. On a side note, sometimes it jams but it can quickly be fix. Once I loaded the program to my computer, I was able to use it.

Overall I like this scanner and especially its speed. I know it can scan business cards and receipts, but I scan everything as a document because sometimes it automatically scans documents as receipts, etc. this keeps it uniform and I don't think it captured business cards that well anyway. Overall, I'm very happy with the Neat scanner. It is a bit expensive but much quicker than the typical all-in-one scanner.

I was looking forward to purchasing this to help with small business but after working thru the program I found it just didn't do all I needed. It wasnt able to merge information and all columns after scanning had preselected labels. Also I found out the files could,get corrupt if not saved first on my computer drive. It did a great job scanning but sometimes I had to enter information once scanned that it couldn't find on the receipt. It just couldn't do enough to make the bookkeeping process easier for me. Felt I still would need to keep,receipts in case of file problems. Best buy was nice enough to allow me to return the item.

I like the product but I can't seem to get it to organize the items like advertised. It could be just me but I have tried. It scans super fast but takes its time processing. Could be a computer issue. I really think the software could be better and more user friendly. This is a great item for home or small business but I would pass on it if you are going to use it for very heavy usage.

I am very impressed with the ease of setting up this easy to use scanner. The quality construction results in quality scans. Well worth the investment in this product.

This is a great product throughout. The size is perfect, as I never like adding more gizmos to the technology in my office. I fought the idea that this is one more thing to plug in and manage, but it is well worth it.. With a little self-discipline, the organizational tools are changing the way my office feels and looks. What an innovative system! The over-all build is rugged, and it feels as though the system will work well for years to come, without the fear that one key part is going to break, rendering it useless. The software is the best part about the unit. I am self-employed and have tons of receipt tapes which eventually get tallied for taxes. The ability to scan and break these down is awesome! Convenient scanning with the searchable PDF has been regularly used and has saved me a ton of time already. It is most beneficial to be able to manage the small papers and business cards. I have only had the unit about 6 weeks, and have not spent a ton of time with the software yet, but the system is changing the way my desk and office operates. So far, great!

I have been using the Neat portable scanner for about the last 5 years. I finally upgraded to the desktop and it is great. Much faster, and very accurrate. Having this, I redid my entire filing system, and I am using this for more and more things.

Easy installation. Easy to use. Primary complaint is the latest software version defaults to cloud storage which I do not trust (personal preference). This was a replacement for a NeatDesk that I had for over 4-years. The scanning gets lighter over time and it was just too light for some documents. This was the right time to replace it. A bit of a sticker shock to see price doubled from my original purchase with literally no visible difference between the two units.

Love it because it scans quickly but I have yet to see it automatically classify each sheet. I am still doing it manually and that it is time consuming. Is it worth the money? Only if getting rid of cluttered means the world

I am using this scanner to scan my kids' writing, drawings and school work. It takes only regular size paper or smaller but can scan many pages at once and is very fast. The scans come out clear and bright. It has feeder slots for smaller items like receipts and business cards although that piece can be removed to add a big stack of regular size paper. The software included makes it easy to put scans into a virtual filing cabinet and has a paid option to back up documents to an online server. One drawback is sometimes the scanner pulls paper in at an angle and tries to cram it through then gets jammed. Easy to open and fix but scan then needs to be redone. Also, occasionally it does not transfer the scan but that problem could also be my computer.

Very easy setup and good scanning output. Good software.

I got this scanner after buying the more expensive cloud version. I returned the cloud version because of difficulty getting the digital screen to turn back on after sleeping, it would not properly sync with a Google Drive account, and the fact that it was very difficult to use as a local scanner. This version is better in that it is more simple. I have used it primarily as a straight-to-PDF scanner because it is by far the easiest way to accomplish tasks quickly. I tried using it to scan my collection of business cards (more than 1000), but found that it is inaccurate in filling the fields and results in me spending almost as much time as entering it into an excel file would have taken. Good product and a solid quality scanner, but it does not accomplish the functions that it advertises that were really the purpose of my purchasing this.

I was surprised at how fast it scanned, has definitely made keeping up with receipts much easier.

I bought this to help reduce some clutter. Easy to use, hooked up in a since. Documents get stuck from time to time, but not often enough to make a big stink. Love the double sided scanning. Quick scanning, but I don't use the analyze function. Color scans just as fast

I've owned the first version of Neat Receipt and this has come a long way since then.

When you first use it you have to set up folders on how you want to store your receipts but once you do that then the time it takes to scan and store in your folders is pretty fast. I really like this product it will be great to not have to store original receipts in file drawers anymore.

This was so easy to set up and use. It does a great job of scanning even hard to read receipts. It is fast.

I was looking for faster scanning capabilities because of the amount of paperless documents we archive. This scanner is perfect it scans super fast and the ocr is so accurate that it has help my business create more efficiencies by improving data management. Great product!
