I love the Jetboots Pro Plus! I’m using the 45-minute full session at least twice a day. My masseuse says he’s not felt my calves to be so supple and they’re usually very tight from daily walking and plying basketball. The only issue I have is sizing. I’m 6’ tall with a 32.5” inseam. I bought the regular first. It is too big when I put it in but when in massage mode, the fit covers my entire leg. I contacted Therabody support and recommended I get the Small version. Small fits fine & it is easier to hold but it doesn’t message the top 5-6” of my leg.

I am really enjoying the results of the Therabody Jet boots Pro. They’re somewhat noisy during use and can be a bit difficult to put on solo. However, those are my only complaints. I normally use the boots while seated in a automatic recliner which makes putting them on and using a little easier. They work by using a combination of pneumatic pressure, red light therapy, and vibrating massage. The sleeves inflate for compression, vibrate robustly and red lights are illuminated during treatment. Each sleeve has independent controls that must be powered on separately. One sleeve has the primary controls with the operating buttons and LED display. The other has a client style control that syncs with the primary control. Both sleeves work in sync during treatment and when powering down. I tried adding the boots to my existing Therabody app and there is a set of JetBoots available in the app to pair, but they look older. These Pro boots won’t currently pair. I wonder if the newer boots are compatible with the app and if not, whether there are any plans to make them so. The boots massage from the bottoms of my feet to the upper thigh. Consistent vibration and air compression is felt throughout the entirety of both sleeves. I feel equal and sufficient pressure in every region, including the feet, ankles, shins, calves, knees, and thighs. I’m six-feet tall and the medium size boots are more than sufficient for my size. The boots have several preset massage and recovery modes. The default quick start is a 30-minute massage for the entire leg and utilizes all treatment options. Time, air compression pressure, vibration intensity, and light therapy are adjustable. I lowered the default time to 15 minutes for most uses and adjust other options as needed. There are treatment preset options available for muscle recovery, warm up, joint therapy, pain relief, sleep prep, and individual targeted regions like lower leg, upper leg, and knees. Treatment style varies by preset. For example, the joint pain option is mostly static compression with no vibration. Sleep prep doesn’t use light therapy. Again, these can be modified if desired. If the timer expires during an active massage cycle, the sleeves finish the cycle and power down/deflate after the cycle completes. It is suggested to wear shorts during sessions so the red light can reach the skin. I typically use the boots after aerobic workouts and also to help with recovery, general cramping and soreness after strength training. The methodical massage action and even pressure distribution is refreshing and doesn’t cause any pain or discomfort. The boots feel particularly good after lengthy biking, long walks on varying elevations, or other activities where my legs feel spent afterward. I can feel a difference in my recovery and haven’t experienced any of my somewhat usual nightly leg cramps since I began using the boots. A 15-volt AC charger is included along with a jumper cable to charge both boots at once. The boots hold a nice charge and allow numerous uses between charges. I use them an average of twice a day for 15-30 minutes per session for a week before needing recharging. A carrying case is also included but the boots must be completely deflated to fit, which isn’t usually the case after most sessions. I look at the carrying case as being more suitable for long term storage rather than storage after each individual session. Both sleeves have hanging straps which I use to store them in the closet between uses. Overall, the JetBoots are somewhat noisy and they can be cumbersome for smaller users to put on. They also have to be handled by the edges to avoid possibly damaging the internal lights and lining. However, for perpetually sore crampy legs like mine, they are also sorely needed. I can live with the minor cons. I don’t mind handling them carefully, I’m tall enough to put them on relatively easy, and the noise is noticeable but not disruptively loud. I was using similarly designed generic brand boots but they were much shorter, utilized air compression only, and provided nowhere close to the therapeutic benefits of the JetBoots. I can absolutely feel the difference.

I have over a 15 year experience with pneumatic compression therapy from my time working as the physician medical director of a wound healing center. We were the outpatient department taking on patients who had open wounds that just wouldn’t heal. Probably 50% of patients were lower extremity issues of a multifactorial cause. And swelling, medical term being lymphedema, was the most ubiquitous reasons for this. Other issues needed addressing (diabetes, smoking, cutting back on sodium, poor blood flow, etc.) but unless and until we controlled the swelling, they would not reliably stay healed. So, if their insurance would cover it, we would arrange for a service to make a home visit usually 3/week where the visiting nurse would use the sequential compression boots to “milk” the excess fluid from the legs, and then apply a compression bandage to the legs to support the tissue and prevent the immediate refilling of the extracellular space with edema. This was an intensive and expensive mode of therapy. The sequential compression boots were always rented, covered by insurance/Medicare/Medicaid. Having seen, felt, worked with these devices over the years, I feel that the Therabody JetBoots are of equal quality, and actually superior in several ways. A quick list includes: 1) Built in batteries built into the foot piece, so you don’t have to run an extension cord across the room to the bed or recliner for the treatment. The batteries are quite robust, in that after two sessions (total of 70 minutes), the battery life was still 55% charged. You can select sessions from 10 - 60 minutes of treatment, and pause or abort the session at any time. 2) Multiple different programmed modes easily available with personal customization always possible, with the control panel in easy reach at the thigh end of one leg. The two run in synchrony, as they connect wirelessly with each other once powered up. Changing the setting on the master leg, automatically brings the other leg along that path. The pressure delivered is adjustable from 20 -100 mm Hg in 5 mm Hg steps. This can be changed during the selected programmed mode, to adjust to your comfort level. 3) The JetBoots are not just sequential compression, but have the addition of a comforting massage and an array of infrared warming strips dispersed through the leggings. Compared to the “medical grade” products, that we would prescribe for acute therapy or inpatient prophylaxis sequential compression for prevention of DVT (deep venous thrombosis, blood clots in your leg veins from inactivity while at bed rest). These SCD (sequential compression device) machines have disposable sleeves, for only one patient’s use. And they only compress/release and are limited to the calves. The JetBoots go from foot to upper thigh, and compress/massage/infrared warm the legs. The target audience for JetBoots is the sports enthusiast, who wishes for a recovery from a particularly difficult workout or after a competition event. I have been an avid runner for years, but recently from balance issues have been limited to brisk outdoor walking, logging about 3-4 miles a day. Following a walk, I found the JetBoots were extremely comfortable, and dealt with fatigued legs very well, although I had no acute injury or problem area to deal with. In retrospect I would have loved to own JetBoots when I was running half/full marathons, for there were hamstring tears, shin splints, quadriceps injuries, etc. that would have greatly benefited from the JetBoots. Other than the sports recovery, which is its designated focus, I would like to mention potential additional benefits for prophylaxis against DVT (deep vein throbosis— blood clots in the legs) after inactivity or prolonged leg dependency. Additionally the sequential compression would remedy the existence of edema, from prolonged standing, varicose veins, etc. As I have witnessed many times, edema control is crucial for wound prevention and healing. These uses cannot promoted for a non-medical device, and indeed I would strongly advise seeking medical attention for any concerns that you may have: such as a wound due to edema or concern for a leg blood clot. Possible venous clots and open wounds can be very serious conditions. After diagnostic studies and focused therapy, then the appropriate therapy can be instituted. So if you have a tender or swollen leg after a transcontinental flight, or an open wound in an edematous leg, seek medical care. This would be the very important first step. If however, you note recurrent leg swelling after your routine shift where you are standing for hours, this could be preventative device to help control that swelling. Additionally, daily wearing of over the counter knee high compression socks for maintenance control of chronic swelling, since you cannot use the JetBoots while at work. If your legs are too swollen to easily put on the compression socks, 15-20 minutes in the JetBoots will mobilize the edema away, and you can then apply your socks much more easily. Indeed, I personally wear over the calf compression stockings virtually every day.

JetBoots Pro Plus = GAME CHANGER!

This is my second pair of Therabody boots. The first were the Recovery Air Jet Boots I got in 2022 which I loved. That model was compression therapy only and it was very effective. So when I saw that the new JetBoots Pro Plus had added both LED and Vibration therapies to the compression, I was really intrigued. I work out hard three to four times a week. The workouts consist of weights for about 30-45 minutes (to include legs) and then a two to three-mile run at a 9-10-minute pace (treadmill or streets depending on weather). I am also on my feet a lot at work, always moving around. The runs and exercise over the years have added much to the quality of life for me, BUT my legs, knees and joints have paid a price. I am sore and they hurt but I will not stop exercising…I need this kind of tech to keep me going strong….and IT DOES! So I got the new JetBoots Pro Plus and was pleased that they still provide a cool and useful carrying case for the boots. I also like how the case has a place for all the chords to keep them from getting tangled with the boots. That’s important, If you don’t have a home gym or just like going to a gym, having the functional case is awesome. These boots are recommended to use before and after a workout and once you feel how great they are you will want them with you after/before each workout. To be frank, I only used them before my workout a few times to test them, I want to hit the workout fast before I lose my willpower! Plus I usually warm up with some stretching. I have found that for me, using the boots before a workout makes my legs a little too relaxed. I like a certain amount of tightness in my legs so I can gauge where I am at in the warm-up... Sounds weird but if you work out a lot, you know your body and what works and doesn’t. But after my workout…This is like angels from heaven come down and message my feet, then ankles, then calves, then quads and hams…I know I am being a little over dramatic but I want to be clear…It feels that good. I like how the heat from my workout gets trapped in with the LED, compression and vibration and really add to the overall winddown and recovery. After my workout, I focus on my thoughts or veg out streaming a show and let the JetBoots work it’s magic and it does feel like magic. Just amazing. After the first time I was shocked how good my legs felt…I don’t want to set your expectations too high but for me, I was truly shocked how good my lower body felt. Let's talk about the LED therapy for a minute. I am a skeptical person in general, but there is something innate in humans about light and energy. Plants need it, humans need it and it’s instinctual. I went to the internet and researched it a little more. Therabody JetBoots Pro Plus uses red LED…. They do that because red light’s wavelengths go deeper into the skin penetrating the Mitochondria which soaks up the energy which makes more energy which helps cells repair and they note it’s really good for inflammation. The articles I read always give you the “cop out”…that more study is needed…I am no doctor BUT I do know how my legs felt…AMAZING. Here’s the thing…I didn’t know any of that when I first tried the new JetBoots Pro Plus….I just began working out and then tried them… I was open-minded and had no preconceived ideas…it would work or would not. Again for me, it worked….AMAZING! Placebo effect? Maybe…even if it was, I’ll take that as well and add it to the sum of the awesomeness. So the LED is RAD…then they added the vibrational therapy…. which really just took it to the next level! I mean, it feels so good and after about 15 – 45 minutes (depending on how much time I have) my knees, legs and joints feel like I am a teenager again…IT WAS NOTICABLE. The only catch…like Cinderella…the “teenager legs” don’t last forever. The next morning and slowly throughout the day, my legs remind me that I have really used them over the years and there is only so much that an amazing recovery system can give you. Lastly the compression seems to be a little firmer than my 2022 JetBoots were. On the old boots I cranked it up to 100%....on the new JetBoots Pro Plus I prefer 95%. That brings me to how easy it is to use as well. You can go through and customize the settings for the LED, Vibration, and compression to get it just the way you like. It’s on board the boots so you don’t have to mess around with an app or your phone. NOTE: Be sure to have your drink or anything you will need once the therapy starts you cannot walk around in your boots! So easy to use and again the portability with the carrying case…awesome. I also like how easy it is to clean out….since I like to be in them sweaty…a good wipe-down is in order. I got the medium size and I am 6’1, 170lbs. They fit perfectly. I also like how fast and quiet the compression is. I can’t think of one thing to say negatively about them. JUST AMAZING! If you are active of have arthritis or do a lot of running these are a must-have…heck even if you just want to pamper your body….They feel amazing. I wish Therabody would invent a jacket so the sleeves of the jacket do what the JetBoots Pro Plus do for the legs. That would be awesome! Overall, A huge upgrade with some amazingly helpful therapies built into a very portable and well-designed product that is really well built! A must-have in a home gym or for a gym rat! I know I mentioned that the benefits fade after use…but better to have love and lost than never loved at all…plus just put them back on and head back to Nirvana!

PROS: • the power is thorough • battery life is excellent • high-quality materials and feel • results for recovery are great • storage case NOT NECESSARILY CONS, BUT MAY BE TO SOME: • they're heavy and can be challenging to move around for some • The price is on the high side, though I feel it's worth it if you use it regularly As we age, we realize that exercise isn't what gets more difficult. It's the recovery. For several years, one of my favorite things to keep in shape is going for 5+ mile walks or runs throughout my neighborhood and beyond. It's a form of meditation in many ways. I try to do this at least four times a week, but the recovery of my legs gets me the next day. Most of the time, I push through it, but Father Time always wins in the end. However, Therabody has created yet another product to help you along the way - to make things easier while providing a relaxing state to enjoy. The JetBoots Pro Plus is a serious tool! These are full-blown, full-length boots that fit up your entire leg (I'm 6'3"). We have the "M" size, which is plenty for me and my wife (who is 5'7"). We have both enjoyed using these frequently because we are both still active in our early 40s (as we should be). We also own the facemask from Therabody and a handheld massager. Therabody never disappoints in its quality. These boots are the highest quality product we own from them. They are huge but straightforward to manage, as they have quality zippers for getting in and out of them. These zippers are heavy-duty, too, so feel free to use them. I can't tell you how often we've gotten products from other companies that use cheap zippers that feel like they'll rip or break off each time you use them. And for $1000, the zippers had better be of higher quality! This is a costly item, and fortunately, Therabody created a product that lives up to its price. When I read up on these before ordering, I didn't know exactly what they did to help with recovery. I know Therabody does a lot with redlight - which we learned from their Facemask. The Facemask also gives your face a massage. It's not much, but it's a nice touch. With these JetBoots, you get a full-blown, powerful message that feels like it's getting deep in your muscles (if you turn the power up all the way). It's easy to control how intense you want it to be. I love going max power, but I can see the appeal of laying off, depending on how I want to relax. There are many different presets, too - recovery and bedtime are just two examples. There's also a timer you can use to manage time because it's easy to want to use it for longer than suggested. You'd expect a massive recovery tool like this to have poor battery life. That was my expectation - maybe we'd have to charge it after every use, but the battery is incredible. We've used it four times (for 2+ hours) and have yet to charge it. The charger has an adapter so that you can charge both of them simultaneously or individually, depending on your preference. I'll always use it for more than one leg, but maybe somebody does. What about the massage? How does that feel? Well, depending on the power, it can feel thorough or, at the very least, relaxing. It starts slowly, up from your feet to up to your upper thighs. It "squeezes" you, and the vibrations are strong. When I took out my leg for the first time using it in its most powerful setting, I did have some imprints on it, but it wasn't painful or anything, and they went away quickly. It's powerful. And it's fantastic. I've used it several times now and can feel the difference in recovery after a long run. As there should be, Therabody includes a case to store these things because they are massive. I don't have any issues moving them around, but I can see elders having difficulty moving them around. The boots can be folded up and neatly packed into the storage bag, which isn't a cheap bag - it follows the same quality the boots are designed for. I'm continually amazed that we live in a world with these incredible tools to maintain our health and recovery. These boots are my favorite body-maintaining tools - and we've gathered quite a selection over the years.

The JetBoots PRO Plus are the latest iteration of the popular compression boots by Therabody, improving upon the original JetBoots with new infrared light and vibration therapeutic functions. Having both used compression boots and light therapy independently, I was immediately intrigued by Therabody integrating both into a product while also adding their proven vibration therapy. The new JetBoots PRO Plus arrived neatly packed in the included carrying pouch along with the power adapter and a cable splitter to charge both boots simultaneously. Initially I was surprised that the case was both larger and heavier than another pair of boots I own, but it isn’t entirely unexpected due to both the design and technology packed into the JetBoots. The JetBoots are completely wireless with the pump and battery integrated into the “sole” of the boot, making the boots appear to be longer than I anticipated but the regular size seem to fit me fine (5’ 6”). The weight in the foot initially was more difficult to put on out of habit but it isn’t unmanageable and I can easily put them on by unzipping them fully and laying them flat. The pump in the foot does have benefit of very fast cycling and less noise due to it being further away from your ears. With the pump design and added therapeutic equipment they do not fold so much as roll, making them bulkier. It isn’t a major issue for me, as I do not see myself traveling with them. After a long day of working my property, my legs were aching and felt like a prime test run to see how the JetBoots performed. Immediately I was pleased to see there was no app or phone integration needed to operate, being fully standalone with 9 customizable preset treatments (Quick Start, Recovery, Warm-Up, Lower Leg, Upper Leg, Knee, Joint Therapy, Pain Relief, & Sleep Prep). Quick start is the default and provided fast compression cycling, LED, and vibration therapy. Once the chambers filled and the vibration started I immediately felt relief which is unique to this product. For me I generally don’t feel the benefit until either late into the compression therapy or after I am finished I don’t feel as sore. With the JetBoots PRO Plus, the added vibration and LED therapy not only felt better, but seemed to provide a more active recovery session. I like how straightforward it is to use the built in controls along with the detailed display to pick your treatment and adjust on the fly. You can easily adjust the pressure, toggle the infrared LEDs on/off, and adjust the vibration level during a treatment. The display even actively shows treatment progress and function in realtime. I will mention the buttons could be better, as they are fairly flat faced and firm but only operate directly in the center of the button which makes it difficult to operate on feel alone. The other treatments each offer unique combination of cycle type, length, pressure, and variation of the included vibration and LED therapies while allowing you to fine tune the treatment as well. The JetBoots were already linked out of the box, though you do have to turn them on independently they power off in sync and deflate quickly for storage. I have had the JetBoots for about a week now and have tried the various treatments and found them to be very convenient without the need to use my phone to customize. I will say my legs feel refreshed after using the various treatments and it is great to be able to quickly target different needs. I did experience one treatment where I was experiencing some discomfort on the side of my knee from a pressure point caused by what I assume is either one of the vibration motors or the LED modules. Fortunately it was trivial to pause the session and adjust by leg position in the boot so that I wasn’t feeling the hard pressure point from one of the internal components. I could see this being an issue for someone particularly sensitive but for myself the inclusion of the vibration is worth the potential drawback. Overall Therabody did a great job incorporating additional therapy modalities into their existing JetBoots. If you don’t currently own compression boots or if you are looking for an upgrade to an old pair, the JetBoots PRO Plus are not only unique in what they offer but are a good value relative to other wireless compression boots.

These are high quality boots. The charge lasts through several uses. They're easy to use and fairly easy to put on by myself. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who need some TLC for their legs. The only thing I would change would be to scoop the material from the top of the inner thigh an inch or two, to accommodate folks at the lower end of the size range. I have to sit like a Raggedy Ann doll and it still digs a little bit way up high.

RELIEF!! Yes, they are pricey, BUT they deliver. My daughter has had issues after her practices for track and she would struggle to recover. She was reluctant to use them (because of the price) but after using it for two days, she was seeing results. We all use it in the family too, and it has given us the relief it promises. Thank you!

The boots are pretty awesome. My daughter and I ice skate often and sometimes multiple times back to back days. These boots help our recovery massively. Due to my job, I’m standing a lot which occasionally results in a slight swelling in my lower legs. This Therabody has helped keep the swelling down. My legs feel great after a session. I also Iike the wireless connectivity between both legs. Less cumbersome than the other units that have wires. Highly recommended for leg health.

I’ve always been on the lookout for better ways to enhance recovery, and when I came across the Therabody JetBoots PRO Plus, I was intrigued. As someone who values optimizing performance and reducing recovery time, the promise of wireless pneumatic compression combined with vibration therapy and infrared LED light caught my attention immediately. After using the JetBoots PRO Plus consistently, I can confidently say that these are game-changers for anyone serious about muscle recovery and overall well-being. What sets the JetBoots PRO Plus apart right away is its wireless design. Most recovery boots I’ve used in the past were tethered to a large pump, making it a hassle to move around while using them. However, these boots have built-in pumps, giving me the freedom to move, relax, or even multitask during my sessions. The battery life is impressive as well – lasting up to 150 minutes, which is more than enough for several full recovery cycles. I also appreciated the convenience of USB-C charging, something I find lacking in many recovery gadgets today. One of the key highlights is the FastFlush Technology, which delivers compression cycles much faster than what I’ve experienced with other products. It only takes about 60 seconds to fully inflate and deflate, and that quick turnaround really made a difference, especially after a long day of standing or after intense workouts. The sequential compression provided by their TruGrade Technology works seamlessly to improve circulation, which I noticed significantly reduced my post-workout soreness. For me, this feature alone makes the JetBoots PRO Plus worth considering if you’re looking for efficient recovery. The JetBoots PRO Plus comes with 8 preset treatment programs, and I found myself alternating between Recovery and Warm-Up modes most frequently. Each program is tailored for specific needs, whether you're targeting muscle pain, preparing for activity, or just winding down before bed. The preset programs are designed by sport scientists, and it shows in how effectively they target problem areas. I particularly enjoyed the Sleep Prep mode, which combined a gentle pressure with soothing vibrations to help me unwind after a hectic day. Customizability is another strength of these boots. The LCD screen is easy to navigate, letting me adjust the pressure and session duration to my liking. Pressure levels range from 20 to 100 mmHg, and I could tweak the time intervals from 10 to 60 minutes. This kind of flexibility allowed me to tailor each session depending on how intense my activity had been that day. I also appreciated the three vibration intensity levels, which added an extra layer of relaxation and muscle stimulation. A feature that surprised me was the infrared LED light therapy. I didn’t expect much from it at first, but after consistent use, I noticed a reduction in inflammation, especially around my knees, which can flare up after long hikes or runs. It’s a subtle but effective addition that complements the compression and vibration therapies. I didn’t think I’d rely on it as much as I have, but it has quickly become a staple in my recovery routine. Hygiene is often overlooked in recovery products, but the JetBoots PRO Plus don’t disappoint here. The smooth, non-porous material inside makes cleaning a breeze. After a long session, wiping down the boots is quick and easy, which gives me peace of mind, especially after multiple uses. It's clear that Therabody has thought about the small details that make a big difference in the long run. In my opinion, the Therabody JetBoots PRO Plus are an investment that’s well worth it if you're looking to boost your performance and accelerate your recovery. Whether you're an athlete, a fitness enthusiast, or simply someone dealing with muscle and joint pain, these boots offer a level of convenience, customizability, and effectiveness that I haven’t seen in other recovery devices. They’ve become an essential part of my routine, and I would highly recommend them to anyone serious about taking care of their body.

They placed the entire battery back in the sole of the foot rather than disbursing this across the length of the item. It makes the feet crazy heavy, cumbersome, and unpleasant to use.
