Great

As advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product works exactly as advertised. I was having trouble with my WiFi in the opposite end of my condo from the router. This really is a better solution than a WiFi extender. Pretty much plug them in attach a cable from the router to the device and do the same in the remote location and voila full bandwidth and no need to use WiFi.

Not as per expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and its plug and play. All this seems like very nice until reality comes in-front of you. When I plug in the Ethernet cable to my laptop (Lenovo T450 and Macbook ) this things works even slower than my current wifi which is one upstairs. I get 25 to 30 MBPS with my wifi but with this plunging in I get barely 3 to 4 MBPS speed. I do not know what's wrong with this but I returned it just because this doesn't make sense you spend money to reduce the speed. Totally west of energy and time.

Posted .Hi, thanks for reviewing our Powerline kit!
We’ll be happy to address the concerns you have about your network speed.
Please bear in mind that the theoretical maximum channel data transfer rate of Powerline Adapters is derived from HomePlug AV specifications. Actual data transfer rate will vary from network environment variables including: distance between adapters, network traffic, noise on electrical wires, building material and construction, quality of electrical installation and other adverse conditions.
We highly suggest making sure your Powerline Adapters are plugged directly into wall sockets; no surge protectors or power strips as these will interfere with the connection.
We’d love to follow up with you and answer any questions you might have. Please send an e-mail with your contact information and a copy of this review to [email protected] and we'll gladly have a Support Agent follow up with you directly.
Thanks again for your feedback! We hope you'll keep TP-Link in mind for your future networking needs.
Best Regards,
