Didn’t do anything for internet signal
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn’t improve internet signal-I had it downstairs and the router was upstairs, maybe that was it, but on full bars it went slower than the normal router signal when normal router had three of four bars.

Posted .For extenders placement is everything. They should be placed between where the router is and where service is needed. Also, in that placement, they should be connected in an open and unobstructed area with a strong signal from the router. Extenders can only extend the service they receive. Additionally, extenders can only transmit in one direction at a time. Either to the router or to the client. Because of this, internet speeds are often slower than when connected to a router with a similar signal strength.

This won't be for everybody, but it's great
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was having a weird Wi-Fi interference issue, being able to hardwire directly into this extender, solve my problem, and the onemesh feature, really offloaded some of the devices on my network

What title?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed the Geek Squad to assist in the installation. The enclosed installation instructions were inadequate. Now that it is installed, it seems to be working well.

Meh
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Doubting that i needed range extenders at all. I have a lot of smart devices as well as 4 people in the house who actively stream. What i ended up with was frequent dropped devices, possibky from moving between receivers. I have Archer AX90, two REs in Mesh. Didnt really notice any benefit from this and recently removed them. Maybe i will try hardwiring ethernet and setting them up as APs, but i think uts a waste of time for my house.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It takes care of my connection which needed to be connected with more bars. However, I was expecting a faster internet speed but this will be okay.

OK but just not for me
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ended up returning this as it did not work well for me as an extender. I did not like that it created a secondary wi-fi so any device had to have it's name added to wifi

I do not think it helped much.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping this would help make our wifi be faster because our modem is all the way on one side of the house, so my bedroom is at the other end and has a poor connection. I do not think this helped at all and a waste of money.

Posted .Hello Bosfd,
So, for extenders to provide the best coverage, you need to install them somewhere between where the router is and where you want service to be extended to. This area must be open and unobstructed, with a strong signal from the router. After all, an extender can only provide what it receives. This will ensure maximum coverage for the extender. But keep in mind the primary focus for an extender is coverage. Speed, in some cases, may improve, but it depends on several factors.

Gets the job done
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this device because the wifi extender I had trying to expand the signal upstairs just wasn't cutting it. Ever since I installed it, the AX3000 has provided great coverage for the upstairs area of my home; there's been no more lagging when streaming shows or disrupted virtual meetings. It seems to be a great product and well-priced for what it delivers.
