Ive had poor experiences with other wifi extenders in the past the geeksquad recommended this product for my needs. Would recommended checking it out if your having wifi issues on the far side of your house!

I would have taken it back but I had already routed my electronics to it, and was too much hassle for me to remove them. I think my signal might be 10% better— not worth it!

If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in Wi-Fi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong yet far enough from the router to extend its range effectively. Please verify the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.

When using a Range Extender placement is everything. You should place the extender in open and unobstructed are that is between the router and where you need service that also has a strong signal. Then the extender needs to be configured and connect to the host router. From there it should work with no issues.

I have the opposite of an open floor plan with plenty of walls between each room, which was making it hard to receive wifi signal to the rooms on the other side of my house. Setting up this extender was super easy, the app made it even easier. I appreciate that there are hardwire connection ports as well so I can get more direct connections whenever I need it. Super reliable and convenient and great quality!
