Works really well! My apartment has horrible signal. Since plugging the extender in, we rarely have any issues with the wifi. It makes everything much easier! We used to get to frustrated having to reconnect our tv to the wifi 3-5 times during a movie, but now we never have to worry!

Worked as advertised. It was pretty easy to access and set up to connect to the wi-fi networks to extend. Using the ethernet port to extend out with cable (which is why I brought this) worked easily too. I've had it going a couple of months now and have had zero issues with it. Hasn't dropped the network, nor any other connection issues so far.

I caught this on sale, and thought “Why not?”. Now that I’ve had it for a while, I have to admit it is nice to have. The first time setup was a little more than specified, but after resetting the modem and router a couple of times, it keeps the extender running smoothly. I should probably add another one for the other end of the house. That being said, I can move it to where I need it, and just plug it in, and it comes right up. After adding the devices to it, they transition smoothly to it.
So far, all of my devices connect seamlessly to it, and I run different kinds of devices whether Microsoft, IOS, or android. I may have to get some cameras to use, and see how stable it will be. So far, with power outages and moving equipment around, it seems to be a good bet.
I would recommend this to almost anyone. Even if you only have basic skills, it can be an easy addition to any network.

The TP-Link RE505X exceeded my expectations! Setup was super easy — it took just a few minutes to pair with my main router. The Wi-Fi 6 support makes a noticeable difference in speed and stability.
Previously, there were dead zones in my house where the signal was weak, but now I get full bars everywhere — streaming and gaming are totally smooth.
It also looks sleek and compact, blending right into the wall outlet.
If you’re looking for a reliable and affordable range extender, this one is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

It was simple to setup, no glitches. The boosted signal works great. Remember to check that you don't place it too far from the WI-FI base otherwise it will drop the signal.

Works perfect! Very easy to setup and hit all of our deadspots. 2 story 2500sqft house. Router on one side 1st floor. Put this booster opposite side 2nd floor. No dead spots!

Works very well and does actually extend the range of my wifi. I needed this to have my outdoor camera systems actually stay online and to connect to them without stalling or lagging. Works exactly for what I needed it for.

Excellent product easy to set up and paired with my router & all my devices very easily. Was skeptical when I purchased it but after having it and no problems seems like a very good choice highly recommend this product.

I purchased this due to the cost and reviews. I have it in my garage and it is about 80 feet from my router. It is used to allow me to have internet in my steel building that’s 100 feet away from my garage. Works great. Only issue I can say is that when it’s plugged into the wall because of the weight of it and the antennas I have a small bracket to hold it up right other wise it will lean over and almost pull out of the wall receptacle. That’s the only downside I can see. It took about 5 minutes to configure it to my home internet and it’s been working great for 4 months now. I would recommend it and buy another again if needed.

The house has only one place for the router and is on the opposite side from the gaming setup. Intalling the extender about halfway between the router and my setup doubled the speeds on my xbox and pc and virtually eliminated my lag issues. It was super easy to set up and was a big improvement in online play.

Sure! Here's a well-written and realistic **positive review** of a TP-Link WiFi extender that you can use for a product page, blog, or personal feedback:

* 5/5 — Excellent Range Booster!**
I’ve been using the **TP-Link WiFi Extender (RE650)** for a few months now, and it has completely transformed my home internet experience. Before installing it, the signal in my upstairs bedrooms and backyard was either weak or non-existent. Now, I get strong, stable WiFi in every corner of the house — even the garage.
#Setup:
The setup was surprisingly easy. I just plugged it in, used the TP-Link Tether app, and within minutes it was up and running. The app guides you through the process step-by-step, and there’s even a signal strength indicator that helps you find the best placement.
# Performance:
This extender supports dual-band (2.4GHz & 5GHz), and I noticed almost no drop in speed compared to the main router. Streaming HD video, online gaming, and video calls all work smoothly now in places that used to have dead zones.
# Design & Features:
It’s compact and doesn’t take up much space on the wall. The built-in Ethernet port is also super handy — I use it to connect my smart TV directly for even faster performance. The signal strength lights are a nice touch to find the ideal location.
# Pros:
* Excellent range extension
* Fast, stable connection
* Simple setup with the Tether app
* Dual-band support
* Gigabit Ethernet port
# Cons:
* Slightly bulky, so may block nearby outlets
* Only one Ethernet port (not a dealbreaker)
# Final Verdict:
If you're struggling with WiFi dead zones in your home, I highly recommend this TP-Link extender. It’s affordable, reliable, and incredibly easy to use. Definitely one of the best tech purchases I’ve made this year.

This is the best $60 bucks I’ve spent. I never lose connectivity and my connection speed is fantastic. Before this extender I had intermittent WiFi issues while in my office at home. It is upstairs and down the hall from the router but no more problems. Highly recommend.

After using this TPI Link for over a month and I would not hesitate to purchase again. It extend our range in a 5200 sg ft dewlling with signal outside 125 ft from placement. It only covers a small area nearour firepit. Effortless to set up. Lights tell you if you go out of range. Wireless modem is in basement. I could not see spending $400 to 600 for a mesh system. Nine devices have connect to this extender. No slow down. I'm using it with a Starlink satelite.

Had a 10 year-old Belkin N600 router that was choking on the 2.4 GHz WiFi and had limited range. I got a replacement $250 router, but that did the crash-and burn. The TP-Link RE505X extended the range of the N600 and was able to link with the Belkin's 5 GHz channel, HOWEVER, I had to download and install the TP-Link app onto my phone to get the 5GHz channel to link up to the Belkin as the second push of the WPS button just wouldn't engage the 5GHz channel as indicated by the TP-Link instructions. BUT: once the link was made manually through the app, the TP-Link has been flawless and high speed, as everything goes on the 5GHz channel now. So uplink/downlink speeds are higher than before and range is longer, for 1/3 the price of a new router. I did have to manually set all phones and tablets to use the extension channel through the TP-Link 5 GHz channel, but after the labor of all that setup all connections are nearly instant, automatic, and have high download speeds. The TP-Link comes back on line in a few seconds after being unplugged, so there are no drawbacks that I have experienced once the setup was done.
