I think it’s silly that you have to get an adapter to charge your pencil with the new iPad but at least it’s not expensive. I got this as a backup as I bought one at Apple prior. Works great but don’t love that it can easily be misplaced

Worked immediately as expected. I had the original Pencil which came with a lightning version of this but clearly it wasn't just about the connector -- tried with a USB-C to lightning cable but nevertheless that one never worked. This one must have had something else in there because it instantly worked. Not sure how often one would use this - I'm guessing very seldom. Try to get it on sale if possible. I got mine for a couple bucks off sale.

My daughters school upgraded iPads this year so we needed this adapter to connect her old pencil since the case the new iPad has is not easy to come off to use the 2nd gen pencil. Adapter did what was needed.

The product was just what I need to continue my work, it has made things extremely easy for me and my task that I need to complete on my day to day basis and On time. I am happy I made this purchase and I would definitely recommend it If anyone that is Interested to buy.

A great buy if you use the 1st generation pencil. I tend to misplace my small items. This is a nice inexpensive save.
