I had an old scanner from cannon that did not work once I updated to Wndows 7. I purchased the VueScan software to make it worked but I regret the purchase since I constantly had to adjust the VueScan software. After 4 months, I browse the internet, I compared prices and I made sure this scanner was compatible with Windows 7 64-bit. Scanner works great out of the box, I did not need to make any adjustment.

I needed to update my old scanner, saw this one online, it had good reviews, so thought I would give it a try and it is working great. I connect it to my HP laptop, not problems at all. I scan vintage patterns for my shop and vintage magazines for my blog.

The CanoScan was the perfect solution for me. It's light and portable, fits in my laptop carrying case, and the resolution and scanning options easily cover every project I've done so far. Yes, I would buy another one without hesitation.

Good price & seems like it has many features. One touch buttons don't have the settings that I would use every day, but they are programmable. The default scanning settings don't take the best scans of things like letters, print ads, etc. but the options are there to change & get a good scan. I do especially like the even lighting all the way to all 4 corners; that's a major flaw on many lower end scanners. Also very good contrast of black & white text or newsprint, so once you have your settings down, you can easily convert to a pure black & white bmp file. This also bodes well for OCR conversion, although I haven't tried that yet.

I had an older version of the Canon scanner that wouldn't work with the new computer. This scanner is working great. There are several buttons on the scanner allowing you to do several things without going to the menu.

Got rid of my last scanner because it didn't work with Windows 7. Was looking for something inexpensive to scan receipts and letters. This fits the bill. Have owned it for a month. No issues yet.

I bought this because I had read it would work with Windows 7 64-bit, and it does. I followed the instructions to install from the included CD and it was simple. Good quality, great price.

Good price for a basic business use scanner. It was easy to set up. I was pleased with the speed and the quality. No complaints.

This scanner works great for scanning old pictures.

Even though sometimes I might need a larger Scan Bed, I find that this Scanner works great with anything up to 8.5"x11". Almost everything I need to Scan is smaller than 8.5"x11". Also has the same dimensions as a 15.6" Laptop, but less weight. It is great for portable use. I love it. Haven't tried it with XP or Vista yet, though.

Good scanner, relatively inexpensive. My only complaint is that the auto buttons (scan, copy, email) do not work with Mac OS 10.9. You have to launch the software to scan or copy.

This is a very nice small scanner for my desk. I really like it and recommend it to anyone.

Previously owned Canolide 30 , liked features and easy use better than 110 - May be just different ask me again in 6 months

I've never used a scanner before but I was able to easily follow the set up instructions. In less than 40 minutes from the time I opened the box and scanned 3 pages, I was able to send the information in an email to a friend. I thought everything was relatively easy for a first-time user.

I wanted a small desk top scanner, that was also portable sets up very easily, and the software is easy to use. cannon makes great cameras and there scanners follow with the same quality

For use at home you can't beat this device. It would be a little slow for office use.

Only wanted a scanner - that was not a 3 in one machine - this one is great for the money

This scanner was a great price and easy to use works good for what my needs are.

This little scanner works very well with my new MacBook Pro Retina, which would not communicate with my older PIXIMA600 for scanning. My PIXIMA600 works great as a printer, copier, etc., and so by adding this very inexpensive scanner I have a solution that my MacBook Pro Retina understands.

Do not hesitate to purchase this product due to low cost..well made and a tough machine.
