I found this TV as an open box item with a nice discount. The Vizio P series is notoriously hard to track down as it's very popular, so I jumped at the chance and drove an hour away to pick this up. After barely getting this behemoth of a TV in my car and getting it home and set up, I am truly happy with my choice. I was looking at either this or the Sony X900f. The difference in picture quality truly isn't worth the $1k difference between the TVs. I haven't put the TV through its paces yet, but I have it reasonably calibrated and paired with the Sony ST5000 soundbar. 4k bluray looks absolutely perfect on this set, especially with Dolby Vision content. HDR10 content looks equally as spectacular, and video games from the Xbox One S are stunning as well. The Smart features on this TV are light years better than some of Vizio's past offerings, and the Smartcast app for the phone is exceptional and easy to use. Apps on the TV open quickly and smoothly, and there is a ton of content to choose from. A bit of maybe unnecessary criticism here, but Directv content is somewhat subpar. That's mainly due to 1080i broadcast and the sheer size of TV processing a somewhat weak signal. So you can't necessarily fault Vizio for it. That said, this TV will mainly be used for Blu-ray and digital content, and for that, you won't find a better big TV for the price. If anything arises, I will update my review, but if you are looking for a midrange 4K TV, skip the Samsung and Sony models and go for the Vizio P. You won't be disappointed.

This is the 2nd Vizio P75 I have bought, the first being a P75-C1 from 2016. I liked the features from the 2016 and was hoping for a similar TV. The older one is in a media room, this TV replaced an older Vizio P70 in the living room. There are a few grumbles which apply to most LED TVs like slight dirty screen effect but otherwise, it is a really nice TV. It has less zones in the dimming than the older TV but I can't really tell the difference for general TV viewing. I like the ability to stream 4K HDR videos through YouTube which the 2016 could not do. The built-in apps are a bit slow but otherwise seem ok when you start to watch anything. I have connected a Dish Network Joey 4K, an Apple TV and a lightly used XBox One S, with sound through a connected sound bar. They all seem to work fine on the various HDMI inputs but I wish that when you finished streaming a video or music through the GoogleCast, it went back to HDMI 1 instead of defaulting back to the Cast screensaver. Overall it was a nice TV to upgrade to. There are probably better TVs out there but they are much more expensive and to me, not worth the extra given how soon they start to become obsolete.

This Tv has an excellent picture. It has full array local area dimming and supports Dolby Vision HDR. No other Tv at this price point has these features. I watched Mad Max Fury Road and the colors popped with HDR. Very happy with this Tv.

A high end tv for middle-of-the-road bucks.

This is a high quality tv, especially for the price. Colorful, bright, beautiful picture(especially for movies); features both types of HDR(hdr and Dolby vision), and a decent(but not excellent) streaming/smart tv platform. Compare this to the Sony 900f, and there is virtually no difference picture-wise. At hundreds of dollars cheaper, this is a value-priced tv with high end features.

Picked it up when it was on sale for $1900. It's not quite an OLED but it's awfully impressive how far these hdr displays have come. My experience with my vsx-90 receiver and Xbox one X has been fantastic.

Dobly vision and HDR10 in a 75in screen all less than $2k is a better deal than most TV's at this size and price. Games and Netflix look great and the difference going from a 55in feels huge!

Great picture and stunning 4K HDR. Used "calibrated dark" settings and image was what I expected. Vizio gives great bang for the buck and I couldn't be happier.

Big TV that checks all the boxes (4k, hdr, plenty hdmi, good price). Smart tv not the best but easy to change with game console or plug in stick.

    Great Picture, bad software.

I have been very happy with the picture. Viewing angle is actual pretty good. I haven't noticed any flaws in the picture. Reflections are handled well. 4k HDR output from ps4 pro looks great. Will try 4k blue ray later today from an lg player. The software/OS that the tv runs on is trash. In 24 hours of ownership the tv has soft-rebooted itself 7 times. This often happens when switching inputs. Additionally, I have had unplug power two more times. The tv became completely unresponsive with a frozen picture on the screen. The only way to fix was to unplug and plug back into power. Not very happy at this point, and I hope that a software update will fix these issues.
