If you are looking for a basic, vanilla, run of the mill home phone, this item is great option. It's affordable, compact, easy to install and use.

This phone the VTech - CS6114 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone - White, is a great phone for the elderly for it is very easy to use. The only thing against the phone is that it does not have the locator button so if you misplace the handset you can't just 'beep' the phone to find it.

The menu navigation isn't the most intuitive thing. The two small buttons to either side of the big circular button are the up/down buttons for menu navigation, and if you have poor eyesight you'll have a very hard time seeing which is which. There are only two volume options: a fairly quiet one (for your nightstand) and a very loud one. However, the call quality seems good and the cordless range is enough to walk to the other side of my house with no noticeable signal degradation.

The cordless phone with caller id and call waiting was exactly what I was looking for as a replacement phone. Since I had a voice mail service, the fact that this phone does not have that feature did not present a problem for me. So IF you need the voice mail capability feature, this is NOT the phone for you! However, this is a great basic land line phone.

I recently got a call from my daughter, stating that her existing work phone was dropped and busted into pieces. She asked me for ideas and I suggested Best Buy! I quickly found what she needed and deposit off. She stated that the phone worked great until the original one was replaced. They are keeping it as a back-up if needed

Simple, cheap and works like it should. It doesn't shoot lasers or make you coffee in the morning. But makes phone calls.

The phone works well. I wish the battery lasted longer but for what I paid it is acceptable. I guess not many use phones like this these days due to cell phones but it does work as expected and I have had no issues

Its sound clarity is not good but still you can use it for kitchen in emergency its better price in bestbuy.

Good phone. Doesn't take up too much space. Easy to hold. Has missed calls feature. Inexpensive.

Works satisfactorily for an extra cordless phone. Reading the name of the caller is very difficult-seems dim, not enough contrast which is very inconvenient if you don't want to answer every junk call. The battery doesn't seem to last very long for a new phone but is okay if you put it on the charger at night.

Bought this for my father in law who is pretty old fashioned. He uses it in living room by his chair so he doesn't have to get up to answer the phone elsewhere.

While the phone works nicely, the system doesn't work with our current answering machine. We also haven't been able to set up the answering machine portion of this handset system and such do not get calls left on our landline. Thank goodness for cell phones!

Easy to install and use. Works great for being tiny.

I am having some trouble with the setup of the phone, at least, until I can read the manual.

No fancy bells and whistles but just what I needed.

Works well. Didn’t want answering machine, so this was perfect. Mounts to wall so not cluttering counter.

I was disappointed that I did not pay attention to the fact that he phone has no speaker..otherwise it is functional and serves it's purpose. Purchase about 2 months ago

Not the first time buying these phones. They are excellent. Last a long time and reliable. Bought the ones I am replacing about 10 years ago.
