I haven't bought a house phone is over a decade. My experience in past purchases was not getting good battery life from the room units and/or good reception. This phone offers both. The base unit is also easy to use with multiple functions. The cost was very reasonable. I've been pleased with the purchase and would recommend this phone to friends and family.

Just what I was looking for. Easy set up, and easy to use.

We ported our land line number to a cell phone. Since we are retired old farts, we didn't want to have only one phone in our condo and have to carry it or run for it. We bought the Vtech system on sale. It was easy to set up and pair our cell phone with it. After we had it for a couple of days, I ordered 2 more handsets for a total of 5. Our condo is 2600 sq. ft. and we placed the base unit and the other phones in convenient areas. When a call comes in, all 5 phones plus the cell phone ring. Each of the phones can be clicked to a speaker phone. When we leave the condo, anyone calling our home can be answered on the cell phone anywhere. When we return home, the base unit instantly communicates with the cell via Bluetooth. The reason that I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was the display. If you do not have a land line, the phones constantly display "NO LINE" rather than the handset number. Another drawback is that you cannot answer or talk on 2 phones at the same time. If the call is for my wife, I must either carry the phone to her or "transfer" to call to her handset. Since the handset number is not displayed, this is difficult. We will be writing the handset number on each of them so we can tell them apart.

Great for connecting to our cell phones. We can now leave our phones wherever around the house or leave it charging and still answer calls.

After finally growing unhappy with the phones we were using we purchased this set of phones and are quite happy. They are crystal clear, easy to operate, and well made.

Was disappointed in the quality of the sound and crackling during a conversation. Hard to read from the display. Have to get up real close to be able to see what it says (with glasses!). Used to have a vTec before and it was superior to this one. Would not purchase this brand again. The Panasonic I replaced was better but had an annoying voice announcing the callers which could not be understood. The vTec is my second disappointing phone system in one year! Where has pride in manufacturing good products gone?

Phone seems fine. Nothing fancy. We liked the mute option as well as speaker option. The only issue we have is that if someone leaves a message, I have to retrieve from my computer. Somebody said you need to call your phone service provider to get that cleared up. Haven't tried that yet.

The phone works great. It has a few more features then we need but works great clear great range and holds a charge really well

Had to find a phone system that didn't overwhelm my low tech 80+ year old Winter tenants. This one did the trick. Easy to set up.

this telephone has good sound quality and is easy to set up and use. I did not need all the bells and whistles that some telephones have - so this product suits my needs

We like the Bluetooth option so we can charge our cell phones and cordless phones are easy to use anywhere in the house..

I first bought this phone because of the Bluetooth feature......but I love it!

I love the features of this phone. Especially the Bluetooth because I have bad reception in certain parts of my home.

Good handset. Working is great. But caller ID and phone book searching is little bit difficult and slow. Volume system also I don't like.

Phone is easy to use, but volume controls not real accurate. Sound is a little hollow, but clear. Would like to have had a few more options.

I have a somewhat deaf 99 yr old relative who refuses to use a hearing aid. She complains about most phones but hears clearly on this one. Also despite all of its features she has no trouble using it. It is extremely durable, my cat has decided that the handset in the den is a cat toy (not the others for some reason) and almost daily sends it flying onto the ceramic tile floor and then bats it around into furniture. After over a month there is no problem with it at all. Although I use this for the landline phone, people who have cellphones can also use it which saves them from having the cell phone with them 24/7. They can have it charging in one room and then have the cordless units in other rooms so that they or others can pickup the call or talk on one unit while the cell owner is on another line

* If someone leave a voice-mail message, caller id does not show any missed calls, unless you clear all voice-mails messages. * It does not speak caller name. * Cell phone sync app is very sensitive. It does not connect easily and some time during conversation, call gets send to phone. * Intercom does not have option to page all and paging option hidden in the menu, rather that have a page button.
