4TB NVMe are not that common and fast Gen 4 even less common. I tried a Predator and this just outperformed it by a lot especially in write speeds. Nice dashboard app to keep it updated and enable game/performance mode. Runs cool with motherboard heatsink.

Installs right into the PS5 and is really fast. I’ve installed plenty of PS5 games and still have 1.8TB left for the new Final Fantasy coming out early 2024. Just make sure to get some sort of heat sink (the $10 ones work just fine) and you’re good to go.

I actually installed it on my laptop without issue and works perfectly fine.

I've been using the SN850X SSD for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for my setup. Games load incredibly fast, and I've noticed a huge improvement in performance. It's also great for multitasking and handling large files without any lag. The only downsides are that it's a bit pricey and doesn't come with a heatsink, which might be necessary for some systems. Overall, it's a fantastic SSD for gamers.

Drive is a decent size for future expansion. Solved my 1 TB woes of a couple games installed and the drive was 80% full. Drive speeds are fast and I've had no WD drives fail so far. I waited for a sale and for drive prices to come down. PCI gen 4 doesn't give up anything in performance.

Works great with a PS5 and easy to install. Does help to store downloaded files and game updates

Most of the time I use Samsung drives, but after a little research and time using this drive, very satisfied. performance is just right and plenty of storage room. Shipped fast! And got here before Christmas!

Amazing and fast ssd. Is usually cheaper and offers similar performance to the 990 pro from samsung. No issues with defects, lower than advertised speeds, or firmware issues.

Very easy to install. Works like a champ and is very fast. Keeps my data off the C: drive and easy to backup.

Got this in my personal computer, works great and was easy to add and get it working. If you are looking to add this to a ps5 i think it should work fine but manye look into adding a heatsink

Blazing fast speed and works great. I just popped it in to my extra slot, formatted the drive and away it goes. Super happy with this purchase and now I have tons of extra storage.

Very good price when on sale and speedy. I recommend this for the Ally X. I'm going to partition it to run both Windows and Bazzite.

Managed to buy this m.2 during a promotion and I’m very happy with it. 4tb on a single m.2 is great since it consolidates the PCIE lanes to just one slot compared to two separate 2tb ones and it’s very fast with 7200mbps

It’s very reliable but their has be a few bad ones batches use Crystal disk to check speeds they a pretty close to averting speeds love this company

Amazing SSD with tremendous storage capacity abd speed

When I first saw 4TB SSDs, I was hesitant on needing that much storage. But of course, they've gotten cheaper over time, plus they go on sale quite frequently nowadays. That, coupled with how games just grow in size more as time passes by, it makes this SN850X 4TB an absolute need more than want. One of these alone can be enough to house your OS along with a bunch of games (and some mods if you do that). This is one of the best drives that WD has put out so far, and I highly recommend it for anyone needing to increase their stroage.

Great product, very fast product. Very happy with it. The only caveat is that it can get hotter than 60 degrees C when running anything 3D with high frame rates. It still not considered cheap when comparing to 4TB Team NVME drives though.

This SSD is fantastic. I replaced my original PS5 storage with this and it's been great. Easy install. Fast load times. Does not come with a heatsink, but it wasn't much to buy on separately. Definitely recommend this SSD to others.
