Easy to set up and use. Only thing I haven't figured out is how to get it to do automatic updates...if it can do them. I say if, because if it has one issue, like so many other items we buy today, there was no instructions or documentation. I can only give it three stars.

I purchased this hard drive to use as storage for my Xbox One S games. The drive loads the games as fast if not faster than the internal hard drive on my Xbox One S. Transfer of my games from the internal drive went smoothly. Overall, I have been very happy with this hard drive. Highly recommended.

Good product for the price. The set up was easy and security settings robust. If I had one complaint, the password requirement auto-locks out after a short selectable period but I would prefer it remains unlocked until I choose to lock it.

I think the instruction could be clearer and but I was able to direct my back up to this device. I use Windows Back up instead of the WD back up and I manually copy my photo files to this device. No problems and I feel very comfortable having the back up right here.

I've always liked Western Digital products its a hardy piece of equipment not cheaply made, a must have for me the back up software alone is worth it I feel better knowing my files are being stored on a cloud in case the worst happens.

This backup drive was easy to install. The auto schedule works as stated.

I couldn't beat the price for 4TB. Works well for my Mac.

Very pleased with this HD (so far). I connect it to my Lenovo C740 notebook through a hub, and use it to backup my Google Drive files. Drive is sufficiently fast and quiet so that it does not disturb me when I work.

I only purchase Western Digital HDDs.. Very good and reliable....

I just plugged this external hard drive into my laptop and everything worked. After my laptop crashed I plugged it into my new desktop. The new computer recognized it. My saved data was there. I was able to recover my files. Everything worked just like you would want it to work.
