I am completely satisfied with my new hard drive. The speed improvement coming from a USB 2.0 device is very noticeable. The unit is quiet and sturdy.

I bought this hard drive to expand my Xbox One's storage capacity. Couldn't be happier. Easy to set up and runs faster than the Xbox's internal drive.

I was simply able to plug the drive in and start using it, The drive itself woks fine. If you are using an older version of WD Backup Software, you are better off uninstalling the old version and downloading the latest version from the website. Also of note is the WD Backup software status bar is slow to update if you are copying a lot of data, such as when you are initially populating the disk. Thus, simply be patient. II thought something was wrong, but the status bar just took a long time to show me that it was working.

I shoot 4k video and edit on 2 separate machines. As we all know 4k videos can be huge and can take up a ton of HDD space. Having 2 of these Externals has made it so much easier for me to store my files and connect them to which ever machine I need. The only problem I had was one of my desktops not booting with the hard drive plugged in. After some digging I figured out how to fix it through a little BIOS manipulation. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs extra storage space that they may not need access to all the time!

It is as easy as plug and play. It works well and fast downloading and uploading. 3.0 USB. It is a very well put together piece I dropped it and everything is still good.

The back up disk is small enough to avoid being clunky yet big enough to be durable. The storage capacity is more than sufficient. Nice product.

I bought this in order to expand storage for the XBOX One and so far it works great. Just plug it in and the XBOX recognized it and then asked if I wanted to use it to install games on to it. Easy setup.
