Fast delivery. Easy installation. Works well. Discounted. I opted to use Apple’s “Time Machine” (instead of the software that came with it) in order to backpack the entire drive. This required that I respond to prompts to erased the drive’s content (during the process), set up a a password (to be used if ever I had to restore my Mac Air drive’s content). The hard Drive came with a cable and a booklet. Instructions on how to use it and other helpful infos can be found in the “User Manual” on the site under “Features” . Color: Blue. My MacBook air was new. I didn’t have a lot on the drive since it was practically, a brand new MacBook so the backup process was very fast. I recommend.

Compact, light, runs very cool, silent, has fast transfer rates with USB 3.0 and worked out of the box for my Mac Book Pro. A perfectly portable drive - I use one for transferring videos to others I work with, and another as a Time Machine drive. Can't go wrong with this baby!

I work with music creation and this is a great product to hold all my heavy and important files. Also it’s slick and easy to take when traveling!

Who has time to waste on less than reliable external drives? Not me. Just like the past WD Externals that I have purchased, this one works exactly as it should. I've learned that I can expect total reliability and ease of use with WD - you can too!

I never knew how much I needed a hard drive in my life especially for editing videos. Works amazingly but I would suggest buying a different cable for it. Mine stop working after 3 days of having it but I was able to buy a cheap one on Amazon and haven’t had any problems ever since.

One of the easiest portable hard drives to use for MacBook. Because of the large capacity great for setting up as a back up hard drive. No extra downloads or applications needed.

This is my second Western Digital My Passport for Mac portable hard drive. It is a compact, yet very solid, device that is fast, reliable and very affordable, the perfect secondary backup device for my iMac. It comes formatted for OS devices so you just connect it to your device and backup. Super slick!

Finally able to move all my photos and videos off phone, iPad & Mac (they are all synced together) which in turn cleaned the message from ICloud giving 2 options 1, Buy more Storage {AGAIN} or 2. Unable to save bc your iCloud is Full. Plus the peace of mind that all is being backed up daily while I sleep is awesome. All this in lighting speed helps me want to keep using for other things like turbo tax etc... Why pay more money every month when I can control & keep all my valued photos, videos, & data on a portable external 4TB with the speed of 3.0 plus hardware encryption at home or even take it with me when I need to travel. Who could ask for anything more.... I will definitely recommend My Passport to my family & friends.

Compact, easy to carry and connect, fast and reasonably priced. I use mine to store picture files. The small size and light weight are great for when I travel. So far I find no down side.

It does what it needs to do and does it as advertised. If you are looking for external hard drives don't look in the "computer components" area. They hidden behind the apple products by printers (at least at my nearest best buy) for both Apple and Windows formatted external drives.

Perfect size for the external Time Machine backups I do for my iMac on a regular schedule. My previous space got used up. Easy to add to additional devices I may choose to upload files or photo files to. Great price too - just when I needed it. Watch for sales...

I love it, I have for a while now. It is plugged to my computer and I use it for content creation. When I collab with others or I’m somewhere else with family I have all the photos and necessary files. Nothing slows. I even managed to download a game or 2 and works perfectly fine. I love it so much

This drive was quick and easy to set up and start using in minutes. Works perfectly as described. I'm using as an external drive as a default location for music and photos on a Mac desktop. I may get another to replace my backup drive at some point.
