Out of all of our new kitchen purchases, this is the best of it. The convection option for our commonly cooked kid foods/snacks is a time and energy saver compared to the oven. However, approaching and going above 400F it seems to struggle to reach temp as it takes far longer to get from 350-425 than it did from 0-350. Even though you’re losing time to an actual oven at that point, you’re probably still using quite a bit less energy. On top of that the microwave functions are great great and cook or reheat food far better than the one it replaced for us. The only real downside is that the smart functions don’t work at all. From the time of purchase to this review, the iOS app is absolutely incapable of setting it up and connecting it to my network. I don’t consider this much of an issue as that’s not why I purchased it, however seeing so many other reviews where once it has been connected to a network it becomes non functional, this is probably a good thing.

Excellent microwave; lots of bells and whistles. Matches our other appliances (Kenmore Elite) in looks. Works great so far, has many features for just about any type of fast cooking.

My wish has come true with this microwave. It has everything I have ever dreamed of. It is beautiful to look at and has all the functions required of a microwave and more. You do not ever have to use your oven again. But I used my new dual oven and microwave for several dishes on Thanksgiving. It fits perfectly.

Works great and like the convection features. Only complaint is the bulbs underneath that illuminate the stovetop burn out quickly and have to be replaced often.

Only had this Microwave for about a month, but, we have been very pleased with it. Has way more features (plus convection) than previous one it replaced. Its is very quite when using and looks great/very modern! Old microwave went out and got this one from Best Buy to replace. My wife was out of town when it happened and she abosolutely LOVES this one!

Nice micro with shelf so can heat multiple dishes at once and also can function as convection oven. Can scan cooking info on boxed foods to provide perfect cooking.

I returned a Samsung microwave (that I really disliked) and purchased this Whirlpool to match my range. Although both appliances are Whirlpool, the clocks on the appliances are 2 different colors of blue. Ironically, the Samsung clock was closer to the range than the Whirlpool. I like that the fan isn’t terribly loud and the light is a color that matched my under cabinet lighting. I also like that I can use the timer while the microwave is cooking. Time will only tell if I have the faulty door issue others have described. All in all, I like the appliance but I am not sure it’s worth the original price. I purchased this as open box and so I feel it is great for what I paid. I also do not like the fact that fingerprints get all over the glass where the control panel is. It is hard to keep clean.

It works, but for the convection/micro cook selection it takes quite a while for food to actually become crispy. I bought it for a great price as an open-box, so I'm not sure I would be as happy if I had paid full retail for it. It looks great in my kitchen and feels solid.

The look of this microwave is lovely! It's roomy and fingerprint free except the glass portion. But prints are minimal when there. The buttons are hard to figure out at first but it works wonderfully! So much better than the older microwaves! Paired perfectly with my oven

I had the previous model version of this microwave and it died after 5 years of use. It sits over our stove (a little too close) which we use pretty much everyday (we don't eat out much at all) and I believe over time the heat damaged one of the circuit boards on the old model. I couldn't figure out which board to replace so I shopped around for a new and different microwave, but I ended up buying the updated model of the one that died prematurely. This new revision has an auto fan heat sensor so when it gets too hot, the fan will kick on to protect itself. The convection oven option made me go back for this model again. It's great to use for small oven items or to not heat up the house during the summer like our full sized ovens would. The accu pop thing works perfect every time.

This is a microwave, but it’s much mor. The convection is very useful and cooks food based on pre set times and temp or you can set manually.

Love this microwave! Very easy to install and operate. It also very quiet!

Super pleased with this purchase. This was a replacement for my whirlpool. This has a wonderful design, especially when using the convection oven rack. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. We use the convection options a ton.

We bought the microwave oven to replace the previous one that we broke, my wife wanted a convection oven so we bought this. The microwave is very powerful and quiet. But the most important thing about the microwave is that it also works as a convection oven, it's like you have a second oven at home.

We love our new microwave. it is large and high tech. I especially note that it is much more quiet than my old microwave. It looks sharp installed over our stove

Not near the quality of my old Kitchen Aid (which was made by Whirlpool), but the cost was 65% less. I have not used it much, but so far so good. One thing I dislike is the dim light, and filtration system is very poor so I suggest that if you are using it to remove cooking smoke vent it to the outside of your home.

Works as advertised. Wife loves the convection feature along with the Smart features and scan to cook in the app.

We had to replace a large microwave and decide tld get one that had convection capabilities, also. After purchasing this Whirlpool model, we were delighted with the versatility of this oven. So far everything that we baked, cooked or warmed came out better than we expected!
