I bought this freezer for my wild game meat so I needed a lot of space. This freezer was a great price and is one of the better chest freezers I have ever owned. If you need a freezer to keep a lot of stuff, doesn't frost up quickly and has a lock on it so the kids can't get into it this is the freezer for you.

Great find. I really didn’t want a chest freezer as I normally would purchase an upright freezer. Couple of times we didn’t close the upright freezer completely and had spoiled or damaged food. We shouldn’t have this issue with this freezer. Spacious on the inside. Freezer also has 2 large baskets to separate some items. Love it.

We brought a Chest Freezer from Best Buy of Whirlpool manufactured which is very good. We received the delivery in a very minimum time frame. The technician installed it and now working fantastically.

Arrived damaged. When Best Buy delivers, they leave it in the box. When opening I saw a small dent, but I though it was only visual and would not impact its performance. Few weeks later, I decided to try it out noticed that the freezer did not seal correctly. Unfortunately it takes more than 14 days to figure that out and now my only recourse is Whirlpool warranty

Needed an upgrade form the small 5.1 freezer I had before, bought this one for good review and have not been disappointed, works great and lots of room that is slowly filling up

Still standing, function as it described. I liked it very much due to couple things: 1. Light--so I can see inside 2. So much room for all food 3. Locked--if I needed to lock it 4, Not too much ice build up!

Freezer is great! It’s in my garage so I don’t have to worry about the noise even though it’s pretty quiet. Nice and spacious too and has the two slidable baskets which is great! The only negative is the KEY! It broke upon first use (Because it’s soooo flimsy) and I had to buy a replacement for $20+. Trying to find a more Heavy duty after market model but have a lot of trouble.

There's not much to say about this freezer - it works well and keeps things frozen as expected. Ordering through Best Buy ended up being the best part of this purchase. We originally ordered a chest freezer (smaller, more expensive) from a home-improvement store in mid-March. At the time the unit was backordered until mid-April, but about a week before the scheduled delivery we received a call that the backorder was delayed until late-June. This was understandable because of many COVID-19 shutdowns around the country/world. A few days before the June delivery date we received an email further confirming the date and providing instructions on how to prepare for delivery (including moving furniture, etc). Two days before the scheduled delivery date we received a call late at night that the unit was now on backorder until September. At this point we were quite aggravated because we had already rearranged the house in preparation and they obviously knew much before that point that the freezer wouldn't be available for another 3 months. We found this freezer listed as in-stock on the Best Buy website and immediately placed an order - within days it was delivered. As mentioned, it's a basic freezer that does the job. The only things that really stand out are that I like the light in the lid and that the hinges keep the door open.

Good size for larger family. Nice to have inside light. Two baskets slide well and great for smaller items. Comes with plug installed tho specs say it doesn’t.

This has nice features including lighting and temperature adjustment. nice layout inside with lots of room.

This is an awesome price for exactly what I needed, only chest for the price with a light and two sliding baskets!!!
