Very nice machine. Black looks nice, but is high maintenance as it needs to be wiped down often as dust shows immediately and smoked glass shows fingerprints immediately. That's the trade off for a dark color. Machine comes in lighter color if that's an issue. We needed to have the door open the other way; the instructions for accomplishing this were straight forward and it was easy to do. Took about 45 min. Door has a two way opening feature so it can be opened from the top and side. Very nice feature. Controls pretty intuitive to use and didn't require the use of the manual. Previous LG machines we've owned had choices for signal volume control and custom load features that could be programmed for loads that are frequently used, nice features that are missing in this newer machine. Not a deal breaker, but they should've kept those feature in. Haven't tried the SMART features yet, but maybe there is something in that feature that can be utilized. The lint trap is a fold-able type where one needs to open it to remove the lint and close it again; possible weak point when opening and closing each load. We are happy with the machine overall and would recommend it.

Bought the washer and dryer about 3 months ago. Super easy set up. We had to rotate the door to open the opposite way and it was a breeze. The preformance of both the washer and dryer have been great. I love the thin-q option so my phone notifies me when the load is completed and when the lint trap should be vacuumed out.

Dryer works great and easy to use. Holds more of a load than our previous dryer. Door opens by pulling down from the top or by pulling from the left sideways.

This dryer is amazing, truly. Drying time is quick, maybe about 30 minutes a load. Sometimes it will pop up with an error (D85 or D90) though if you are doing too many loads one right after another or doing bulky items, because of the flowsense, it is related to your ducts. Definitely check on your ducts, as that was our issue the first day, it was in desperate need to cleaning out. It's nice to have that warning, but can get a bit annoying if it is just because of a bulky blanket and not actually due to the ducts. The filter itself was a bit confusing at first, I was afraid of breaking it, but there is a little latch for it. It is a bit weird with all the lines to clean it off. Overall a great purchase and in all a load takes not even an hour from wash to dry. It means my family and I can keep up with laundry easier and not fight about using as it doesn't take long. It also means I can do mine later at night after work without worry as it's not loud and doesn't take too long.

Okay… it does dry well, BUT if you put too much laundry in, the clothes will come out very wrinkled. I can fit a lot of clothes in one load in the washer, but if I put the whole load in the dryer, I have to constantly make sure they’re still hot when I take them out to avoid all the clothes looking so wrinkled when I take them out. But again it does dry everything well. I rarely have to restart loads in there to continue drying. Big blankets fit well, too.

Very functional with many great features that are extremely easy to use. I love the door with its dual opening feature... I didn't realize how handy this feature actually is. Placed order for pickup and arrived 2 days early. Third major purchase from Best Buy and have to say experience has been flawless.

Very quiet. Runs good and drys. Doesn’t like dryer sheets but decided to go away from them anyways.

Our old dryer reached its end of life. We got the LG Smart Electric Dryer as an open box item. It works really well. The two-way functioning door for loading and unloading is a very handy feature. The LG Thinq app unlocks many more dryer features. But it seems like it will override the standard features on the machine. We had a hard time running a simple cycle straight from the machine once I connected and brought the dryer online. Overall, we are happy with the machine and highly recommend it.

I bought the LG washer/dryer set after 3 days of searching. I absolutely love this set. Large capacity, Fits a King Comforter easy. Love all the features it has. AI wash, deep wash and deep fill work great. It is super quiet during operation. The app is definitely a plus to have. Very satisfied with this purchase. No regrets!!!

Very nice, love the “clothes shoot” door access and dries my very thick King sized comforter with ease.

I love this Dryer it works great. It is perfect size for blankets and comforters. We have pool so it has been nice to be able to dry several beach towels at once.

I must have ordered from a bad batch of dryers. I had to send the first two back after a slight grinding sound from the drum. However, they both dried excellently. The third one works great with no issues. I’d give 4 1/2 stars if I could.

It's a great dryer so far BUT.....after quite a few months of use, we have found that this dryer has the worst lint trap design we have ever had. Dryer sheets and clothing can get caught in the gap that the fixed plastic trap screen that protrudes into the dryer drum. The removable screen trap itself allows quite a bit of lint by it causing a build up inside the duct and at the vent outside. Pretty disappointed with this one important feature. The old school top slide in traps do better. Other than the lint trap, it is a pretty good dryer.

We wanted to fill our new home with some appliances and could not pass up a great deal on a new washer and dryer. Pretty cool feature with this dryer is that the front-loading door opens frontwards and sideways.

This is My 2nd Dryer from LG and it is amazing, the older one still working and we have that one in our garage. This new modern style is excellent and we love the smart connectivity to our cellphones.

Would like to have a setting that I could select the time & temperature. Not all the settings let you change these. Also the Power and Start should be whiter as they both are hard to see.
