I got 3 of these. None work how they are supposed to. A very incompetent third party hired by Best Buy couldn’t install them. He goofed it up and I had to call a locksmith to install them but he couldn’t program them. I followed the directions but I couldn’t program them either. One lock works only with the app, one only with the keypad, and the third one doesn’t work at all. I was subsequently told by a Best Buy manager that the Geek Squad could fix them but a Geek Squad rep said they couldn’t because they don’t have a license to work with smart locks. As soon as I can get my regular locks back on these are going back to the store.

These are easy to install and easy to set up with the in app instructions. The features are excellent and allow you to set up individual codes and it will allert you who and when the lock was opened. This a must have for anyone wanting to get away from having to mess with keys. I would highly recomend them to anyone. The work excellent with iphone and apple watch.

The functionality is great in theory but the reliability is not. The module that provides wifi and remote functionality was damaged on arrival. Perhaps this was an item that someone already returned? The pins that seat into the module, half of them were randomly in the module while the other half were randomly in the module receiving end and some were bent. I suspected there would be an issue but attempted to install. Needless to say, it didn't work. It would not connect during set up. I removed and reinstalled and the pins continued to 'break.' I am going to return and re order to give it another try, hoping I had a lemon. My caution to anyone buying is to look at the module and the module receiver upon opening to inspect the pins. I believe there are 8 of them. Then be very very careful plugging the module in to ensure the pins aren't damaged. This should not be an issue but unfortunately it is. I've already repacked this for return or I would provide photos. I'll re-review after I try another one.

What an awesome smart lock. Easy to install and easy to use

I wanted a lock that would replace the standard deadbolt on our front door but could also be locked remotely and work with the rest of the smart products. I chose this one because of the app interface and the ease of use. Bonus that it uses batteries that can be easily found in various stores (4 AA)
