The Lock meets the expectations and was easy to assemble and configure. I was replacing my previous Yale Lock after 5 year as the Deadbolt went bad on that and Door wouldn't open easily. Selection of this gives 3 great options - Finger Print (easiest), Number Lock for One time access (safe) and Key (for emergency should the Battery drain out. Good Stuff

Awesome! Lock was easy for my handyman to install. It was also easy to set up and add family members. So far I haven’t had any issues and would recommend the lock.

Really it is not that hard to install if you have a standard door. They include a template for measuring the widths and depths of the lock. The use will blow you away, it is so easy to use just a quick finger print read and I'm in the door, it would take me longer to get my keys out. Great product.

This product is working great, no issues yet. This lock is wonderful, the fingerprint feature is great. Those moments your hands are full, the convenience of using 1 finger to unlock the door is great. Now, the feature where you can unlock this lock using the app while still in the car will be great.

This lock is great. The installation video on the app was very easy to follow and I like the option of both the codes and fingerprint recognition. I also like the key as backup in case the batteries die. It also passed muster for being sharp looking from my wife.

I've had several different Smart Locks over the last 7 years and this one has to be the easiest one to install and operate. This Yale - Assure Lock 2 operates on my SmartThings App, Xfinity App, and the Yale App. The features for the Yale App were really easy to set up the fingerprint registration for everyone in our family so that I know who's coming in the door. Also liked the fact that it's a six digit entry code set up making it more secure.

It works great and the fingerprint biometric is accurate as it only works for whoever its set up for. My only gripe is battery life. We have had it for less than a year and had to change batteries 3 times.

Works perfect!!easy to install. I especially like the ease of the fingerprint scanner.Getting into my home is so much easier. Now I also have notifications when people are coming in the house through the app.Really great. Much better than my prior digital lock.Happy I got!! Great price too.

Great so far, east to install. The one issue ive had is that it cones w a Kwikset cylinder and only 1 physical key. If you want the convenience of one key for all exterior doors (and any interior doors), they have to be Kwikset and rekeyed. If they are Schlage, then you cant have 1 key fir all doors. According to Yale website, Schlage cylinders are available fir purchse but this should be an out-of-box option. An extra physical key would be great too.

This is a great investment. I previously had a lock that only required a fingerprint. Now, since I have a dog and sometimes need a neighbor to check, I can send a code for them to access. The only thing I would like to see is a meter that shows how much battery life I have instead of receiving an email from Google Home informing me that my battery is very low.

The Yale Assure Lock 2 is an easy install with a very dynamic locking mechanism. The wifi hookup is very robust and can reach a great distance with the right router and wifi system. I highly recommend the Yale Lock over many competitors.

This smart lock is great. I’ve had at least five or six and the biggest problem is when the battery dies. There’s no other option but to go through your garage or get locked out of your house. I love that this includes a key as a failsafe in case the battery dies, while the battery is working, though this thing is amazing. I’ve set it up right when I enter my driveway it opens up the door. It’ll close the door in five minutes. It also comes with the sensor but I didn’t set that up yet. This is the best I’ve had and I’m definitely gonna buy more when I need, maybe for my garage.

Easy to install and works great! There have been some reviews I have seen with technical issues, but so far (knock on wood) it’s worked great. The app is user friendly as well.

When fresh batteries are installed, the lock works great. That being said the batteries only last 2 to 3 weeks before they are depleted and lock disconnects from Wi-Fi. was in touch with customer service. They sent me a plug-in bridge to rectify the lack of battery longevity, but that did not work contacted them again. They sent me a new lock put the Wi-Fi module back in instead of using the bridge. the batteries lasted about three weeks, uninstalled the Wi-Fi module and installed the plug-in bridge that they had originally sent me to fix the problem. Batteries are are not strong enough after two weeks to communicate with the plug-in bridge making app functions unavailable.. definitely not worth $300 unless you don’t mind purchasing AA batteries to change them every 2 to 3 weeks very unhappy and disappointed.

I’ve had two different models of Schlage smart deadbolts and was going to purchase a third for this house, but the features as well as the all-black (when not in use) faceplate of this model were attractive to me. I also was drawn to this model specifically working with Google, Amazon, and Apple Homekit. My Schlage locks would have required a bridge to be able to do thst. Installation was easy and I found the parts to be very premium and safety/security focused. One example is the length of screws. My dad once gave me a lecture on the importance of using longer screws when installing a deadbolt (the knes thst go into the door’s wood) to make it harder to kick in and I have always needed to use my own screws with other prodicts. Not the case with this deadbolt. The screws they provided were actually LONGER than what my dad taught me to use. Little things like that put this product on a pedestal above the rest. I also really love the notifications I get on my AppleTVs when the door us left ajar, unlocked, or locked. Having a dog and a 4yr old means the front door sometimes gets left slightly ajar and being able to catch that from any room in the house and go shut it means I dont have to worry about my dog getting out and bringing me a frog he found while also air conditioning the outside for an indeterminate amount of time.

This is my first experience using a smart door lock, and I like how it works. The only thing I'm a little unhappy about is the battery life, which is very short, and I have to replace them at least every week and a half. I've heard that there are other brands and the battery life is long, but I've already spent the money and I think I can survive with that.
