My husband loved it. The system booklet helped and he had no problem setting it up, it took a little bit longer, then he thought it would, but once done it was awesome.

Very solid receiver with easy set up and sounds good with my set up. Just wish it had a few more pre outs.

Upgraded from a ten year old Pioneer SC-25 to the newest technology and I am glad I did! I am a musician and the audio quality and ability to equalize each speaker is a real plus. The Yamaha RX-A2A was simple to install and "tune" with the given mic. I also purchased additional Yamaha speakers fr a 9.2 setup although the Presence Speakers and the rear surround speakers share the same amp channels and auto switch based on content. Very happy with results! Best Buy delivered super fast too!

This was my first Yamaha experience and I’m on the fence. I have used denon and Onkyo receivers on the past. Set up was both easy but with other things they took time to understand and set up accordingly. The sound quality is excellent. But for me lacks a bit of punch for movies. Also l was unable to get 4K @120hz for my Xbox. So beware. All in all for the price. You get a really good receiver. Would recommend.

Love the look and ease of use. Recognizes all my gaming consoles and displays their names. Sound quality is good and output is plenty.

Does an amazing job in my av setup. Lots af power Currently doing 5.1 but it will expand to 7.1 and atmos. It has e-arc for 1 cable connection to tv.

Best price to value option for 7.2 channel AV Receiver. The sound is pure Yamaha. This replaced my Yamaha TSR-7790. I'm glad i stuck with Yamaha. This is best sounding receiver I've ever had. My favorite features are the internet radio stations and access to my stored media. I was skeptical about the sparse design with that one knob but truth be told i never use that knob or any buttons on the receiver itself. I use the smartphone or ipad.

Excellent quality. May need cell app updates frequently but easy physical setup. Highly recommend

Love the Yamaha RX A2A, sounds like you are in the movies, with its deep adjustable bass and speakers. Everything sounds so real. The system is design for the woofer speaker to set on the floor, looking at the picture and feeling the sound as well as hearing it. Especially when you have two woofer speakers. this system has two hook up's. Best thing I bought having a 70" TV

I bought this receiver to replace an old one. The sound it delivers is great. There might be better receivers at a higher price, but this is good enough for me. Plus, I got it for $200.00 off.

So far, I love everything about this AV receiver. It has a handsome appearance and very easy to configure. In addition the audio quality is excellent. I did a lot of homework to get a system that gave the features I wanted at my price point.

Easy to setup using the included microphone. Good sound quality, crisp, and percise. Bass boost adds some warmth to movies and music but seems like a must most of the time. As of writing this there is still not a firmware update implementing 4k HDR / 120 hz or VRR

Great A/V receiver. Motivated to buy this receiver due to its surround sound wireless capabilities. While not simply to set up takes some time and tweaking, once it is up and running, the sound is great. App is intuitive and makes controlling our AV environment a breeze.
