Works great. No complaints
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited to review this to give me time to actually use it. I purchased at the end of 2019. So far so good. No problems. It sits a little higher than my cabinets (even though Bestbuy sent out a professional to measure and make sure it would fit) and because of this the installers tried to lower it as low as it would go. It still sticks up about 3/4 of an inch over my cabinets and is uneven but none of this is a reflection of the over itself. I highly recommend this oven if you are not one that can afford the 100K price tag. It has enough bells and whistles for us and plenty of room to cook a decent dinner for a family of four. If you are thinking about getting this over make sure to measure your cabinets and then measure in the store first. Over all. I say buy it.

the glass top is garbage. I regret this purchase.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had for not even 8 WEEKS. The glasstop looks like it's about 10 years old and something that was picked up off the side of the road. So embarrassing and awful to look at. I contacted samsung and they told me its cosmetic and to contact a local hardware store to get the glass replaced?? Unreal. I will never be purchasing another item from Samsung. I had a Frigidaire glass top for many years and it never did this and always cleaned nicely. Stay away from this stove.

Great range, very happy!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this range! It’s a definite upgrade then my old one. I was able to get it at the huge clearance price :) the review that say cooktop is defective or “scratches easily” all depends on the usage, the abrasive cleaners you use, Maintenance, etc. I’ve used mine a couple of times already and it’s in good shape and that’s cause we cook A LOT. then again, there is no material at this price good enough to resist wear forever. That’s the point of a range, to be used, not to be left for decoration but oh well if y’all ever have the chance to get it you should! Luckily I kept checking every day at midnight and there was one available one hour away from me so I did store pickup. AND I added warranty because you never know what can happen in the future! P.S. I believe this goes out of stock officially in July.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between convection oven and regular oven?
Asked by jgd1945.
- A:Answer Unlike conventional ovens, which cook food by surrounding it with hot air, convection ovens circulate the air. Convection ovens are built with a fan placed in the back of the oven. When you turn on the convection setting, the fan blows warm air all around the inside of the oven, promoting rapid and even heating.

Q: QuestionIs there any reason you can't take the old electric chord off of the oven you are replacing and use it on this new one? And why in the world is a range the only product that doesn't come with its own electric chord. $27 come on????
Asked by electricchorc.
- A:Answer Code changes, and safety. Ranges require a lot of power--more than just about anything else in your home, which is why they have their own hefty breaker in your box--and cords are the most likely point of failure as they suffer the most disturbance as an appliance is used (especially if the range is pulled out or moved for cleaning or maintenance from time to time). That, and codes have changed. A house is not required to be updated to the new specs if an appliance is being changed (only if new wiring within the house is being done), but for a new range to be code-compliant it will be wired to have a separate ground (4 wire set up). This might not match your house wiring, as ground wires used to be optional and thus often not used, hence many home still having a 3 wire outlet. So what is the range manufacturer to do? Well, they let the buyer decide which cord they need (providing instructions for installing either), based on the house wiring which may or may not be up to current code. So that is why it does not come with one. As for re-using the old one, if you are installing the range yourself then go right ahead. Just know that your old cord has seen a LOT of power running through it for however long the old range existed...and if the previous person re-used it also, that cord could be decades old with a lot of wear and tear, not only at the ends but also the internal wiring where you cannot see. Is an extra $25-30 bucks worth risking a sudden meltdown--and possible house fire--of an old cord that looked fine but wasn't? Btw, dryers (also high amp power users) are appliances that usually do not come with pre-installed cords, and for the same reason.

Q: Questioncan you use a cast iron skillet on this?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, just do not drop the skillet for obvious reasons.

Q: QuestionWhy doesn’t the range have an actual simmer temp.low is to high for simmering sauces, soup etc, I’m using stainless cookware.
Asked by Sissibelle.
- A:Answer Low is not to high for simmer. Simmer is actually in the medium range offering a gentle bubbling to a medium bubbling. The temperature is of course below boiling but above poaching. I will quote from a online cooking site." from en.m.wikipedia.org Simmering is a food preparation technique in which foods are cooked in hot liquids kept just below the boiling point of water (which is 100 °C or 212 °F at average sea level air pressure), but higher than poaching temperature."

Q: QuestionDo you have to use the convection fan? If you choose not to, it is a regular oven?
Asked by Tiny.
- A:Answer You do not need to use the convection fan. The oven has two different bake settings: Convection Bake and "normal" bake. The "normal" bake mode would work just like a regular oven.
