A: The stand takes the overall height of the TV from 37-7/8" to 39-1/4". If your soundbar is 2-1/4" high, then it will block a very small portion of the bottom of the screen. This may not matter depending on what type of content you watch. Most HDTV shows broadcast in fullscreen, so you'll see it there, but any Netflix or DVD content with top and bottom black borders, you won't see anything.
