Like the surround sound and smart volume settings. Have connected to TV optical output. Turns on automatically when signal is received. Low end sound is decent for not using an extra sub. Just wish it had a subwoofer output for extra kick.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so i bought an new 42" led panasonic. love the tv except the speakers fire downward. i cant hear the darn thing. i bought this speaker for $75 and i love it. its amazing how much better you can hear when sound is traveling at you instead of bouncing off my entertaiment center and then finding its way to my ears. my only issue is that sometimes the sound will go from low to high and high to low. i havnt played with it yet and it may be a simple option i can change but i think thats just the way it is. I still love it though and highly recommend it...

Product didnt work longer than 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes of use, the product didn't respond to the remote. The buttons were non-responsive as well. Sound quality was not much better than TV speakers while I had it on.

- A:Answer Due to the nature of the cross compatible connectors (HDMI, Composite(RCA yellow/red/white), Component(red/green/blue), Optical), almost all devices will work with the Samsung SoundBars, regardless of manufacturer. There are no special converters required. Aforementioned Cables will be required (and are not included) for normal operation. -MrSamsung

- A:Answer The speaker you see is the only one that is included. It will give you more volume than your TV likely will, but there is no subwoofer, so it will not drastically improve the bass response. The only wires required are the power cable and either optical or RCA cables to get sound from your source to the soundbar.
