A: I have a lot of space and if I need I can open all the door to take out my laundry but I just only opened on 90 degrees and doesn't get any problem at all. This machine is the best!!

A: Yes you can turn that feature off, we don't use it. we place pods inside with the cloths. it is easy to change the setting on this either way you like.
Q: Is this model available in white?
A: The 8800 model is only available in black.
A: My last washer was a LG top load and was complete total crap as far as going unbalanced all the time. Would even give be unbalanced with nothing but water in it. Plus, the "CLEAN" cycle lost it's memory of what to do. We have had no problems with unbalance, or anything yet with this washer. Have had it over a month, so remains to be seen, but loving it so far.
Q: Does it take liquid detergent only, or can we use powder as well?
A: I'm so glad you asked, bkeepr! You can use either liquid or powder detergent in this washer, but there are a few things to note first. This model offers an "Auto Detergent Compartment" that holds enough detergent for several loads. This compartment can only use liquid detergent. If you wish to use powder detergent you will need to use the "Manual Detergent Compartment" and remove the liquid detergent container first. A: Hi MargoW, Thank you for reaching out and we hope you are in good health. We are happy that you are interested in Samsung home appliances. Height of the washer is 38 3/4". The matching dryers (DVE50A8800V, DVG50A8800V), have the same height. 38 3/4". The stacking kit only adds like a 1/2" at best to the height. In all, it is basically replacing the feet on the dryer with the kit to allow the dryer to slide back to brackets and sit on top of the washer with a nice curve of the spacers so it doesn't fall off the washer.
