I am very pleased with this Blue Ray Player purchase. Though it's condition is Refurbushed it's performance is awesome . Simpe Setup and easy use. I am able to run XVID, AVI, MKV etc video files so far. This player gives access to the best of the web with its Apps. Bottom line is... It's Very Impressive.
I would recommend this to a friend

What kind of receiver to connect from the TV to the receiver of the direct TV. I'd like to eliminate some of the wirings. Question5.1 capabilityI currently have a samsung system that is about 3-4 yrs old and is an HD upgrade DVD player (not blu-ray)...I want a bluray, but am very happy with my current 5.1 speaker system....can i just swap out the receiver for a blu-ray player and connect my speakers to the "new" unit?

- Answer No, you cannot connect speakers to the Blu-Ray player. You may be able to send the audio (optical audio) from the Blu-Ray player to your home theater system if your home theater system has an optical input.
