Q: Do I have to use the touch-screen for certain features, or is there a dial alternative?
A: what I have found you can use the touch screen or turn the dial either way it works great

A: We are by no means tech Savy with cameras and it has been easy for us. It does a lot if the work for you. You can little by little learn all the extra features it has.
