Schecter - 006 Deluxe 6-String Electric Guitar - Vampyre Red

If your looking for a starter guitar for yourself or as a gift, congratulations, you found it! Ok so I've had this guitar for 4 years now, and even though it's a new version of mine, it's still exactly the same. If anything it has better hardware on it. The strings are spaced out nicely, whereas Squire Strats strings are fairly close together. The pickups sound amazing for the price, I've actually played guitars up to $700 that don't sound as good as this one. You do get a little distortion in the sound, but nothing a beginner would notice. I can make this baby squeal with distortion, or play clean tones that sound nice and warm. I have been using Schecters ever since then and have not been disappointed with them. I also have a Schecter Blackjack C7 7-Sting guitar and it simply amazing! But back to the point. I completely recommend this guitar, I have beat it up tirelessly and it barely has a scratch on it. This is also a great backup guitar. It is slightly heavy but you learn to love the weight, it's not as bad as a Les Paul, but it's close. Overall, I would give this guitar a 6 for the price, but I can't so I gave it a 5 and my best regards.
