Exceeds expectations
I had looked high and low for a hard case that could be used with the Yuneec Typhoon Q500. There's not a lot out there so I was pleasantly surprised to see that Best Buy had this case for sale. The cost was certainly more than I'd like to see but given the alternative I decided to give it a try. When I first opened the package I was surprised with how solid this case is. It's a bit heavy but your UAV will definitely be protected in this case. The in-line wheels on this case seem to be very high quality. There are 4 clasps that lock down to keep the lid closed. Two of them have holes for locks - perfect for when checking your drone for a flight. The lid also has a rubber gasket running around the perimeter to keep the contents dry/clean should they be exposed to the elements. The interior is custom fit for all the parts that come with the drone, including spaces for up to 6 batteries. I only have 2 but it's good to know there's expandability. There's even dedicated space for the steady camera grip that comes with the Q500 combo purchase. I cannot stress enough how solid this case is. I'm taking it on its first flight this week but I have no doubt this will keep my investment safe.
