A: Most people are stating that spectrum offers cable up to 1080p. Spectrum’s max output they offer at this point in time is 1080i in most areas; if not all. I mean we are all trying to move forward and get rid of the boxes, which is a dream, but their app is spotty at best on devices other than a computer. So to answer the question if you are watching tv through a cable box, just look at the tv in store and pick one that you like the colors along with the brightness. It will take some time, and probably our money, before cable boxes will have true 4K capabilities.
A: I looked at these in the store this morning. The more expensive of the two (X800E) automatically upscales lower resolution video to Ultra HD video (4K). It has a higher grade chipset. Apparently the D doesn't have this ability. This is what the salesman at the store told me. I'd definitely spend a few extra bucks and get the better one (the X800E). Maybe this helps someone trying to decide between the two.
Q: Any specific 4K HDMI cable recommended for this TV or my old HDMI cable will be fine too?
A: Hi there! It is recommended to use a High-Speed HDMI cable with the "HDMI" logo as the connection cable. -Jerome
A: I did the apposite, dumped the Samsung and went with this Sony.. I was horribly dismayed with the build quality and the jittery and blotchy picture on the Samsung. Very happy and satisfied with the Sony

A: Great TV for the money. I have used Sony audio before and this TV has a great picture. The sound is great for a TV that has a small profile as most TV's require a sound bar to be able to hear anything. This TV does not require the additional sound bar, unless you want one, in my opinion. Would recommend this TV to my friends and family.
