A: I recently purchased the Sony boombox from Best Buy. We listen to it out by our pool. We use radio, Pandora and CD's to play music. It it load enough for us to hear over all the human chatter, outdoor noises and the pool filter noise running. It is small but mighty!
Q: CAN I RECORD CD MUSIC IN THE USB????????
A: Yes, it records at high speed, turns the music into MP3 format, and saves it on a flash drive. Then, you can upload them to your phone or iPod. You can either record song by song or the entire CD. I did entire CD because it is a lot faster. Then, I use my computer to select the songs I like and put them together. This is the reason why I bought this machine: to convert songs from my old CD into MP3 format at high speed, unsupervised.
Q: Can you plug a thumbdrive into the usb port to PLAY music from the thumbdrive?
A: Yes, that is one of the main features of this unit. I think that it mainly plays MP3 files, but it may work with other file types also.....check the Sony website for more info.

A: Yes, there is a button that lets you choose between repeat, repeat all and randomize modes and maybe some other choices.
